Derry Alli
Went to the pub on Friday ordered a pint and picked it up off the bar and placed it on the table, took my jacket off and my arse hit the seat and I got an emergency call out. Shettleston. Jacket on, pint left behind. Got to Perth and phone went again, call out cancelled.. there's nothing I'd be able to do. It's happened before and it'll go around in a circle and eventually land back at my feet so I stayed in all day yesterday waiting for it to happen. Nothing. I'm now heading for a pint, what's the chances..

There's boys that text me and ask is to get them from A to B. Forfar back to Dundee yesterday due to him meeting some dame on Friday. That's 3 pint right there.

I wasn't actually on call but I was closest. I could have rejected it but the boy on call was about 4/5 hrs away. We only get about 3hrs to react to it then fines etc.

The good old days. If the boiler wasn't working it was usually one of three things, thermocouple, gas valve or thermostat.

Surely it's easier now with "nah pal that's obsolete, you'll need to buy a new one".
