Valverde pished the Mur de Huy in Fleche Wallonne yesterday. All too easy for him, and pretty boring to watch.

Landis ridiculous today at Trentino, closed down about 15 attacks on the final climb. He'll walk the Giro.

Landa takes Trentino by 2 secs from Kangert. Turkey starts on Eurosport today. L-B-L tomorrow, for the climax to the classics season.

Croatia on Eurosport too, disapointed in Arradondo of Trek. For a noted Colombian climber, it was a MTF yesterday & he wasn't at the races.

Sergio Heneao withdrawn from racing over queries about his bio Passport from 11-15.

This sounds serious given that Sky withdrew Henao two years ago after his BP looked dodgy. They declared him clean after an "internal investigation" into the effect of altitude on his blood values. Tiernan-Locke was busted for EPO after a lengthy investigation into his BP.

Thing is, he's not lived up to expectations in the years quoted, yet hit a bit form this season!

Some amount of asthmatics in the pro-peleton.

Bit like all those top Russian and Eastern European athletes with heart problems.

1 in 10 baseball players have been "diagnosed" with ADHD.

It's the same in all sports; why risk a ban when you can just get a TUE.

The parcours is pretty flat, on the whole, and despite a couple of hilly stages towards the back end, I don't think its one that can whittle out the bigger riders, so I've stuck a couple of quid on Tom Dumoulin. The fact there's 3 ITTs (despite one being uphill) only confirms my feeling that this isn't a race that needs to be won in the mountains.

His only competition is really Nibali and Valverde.

Hopefully the race lives up to billing.

Bizarre crash in 4 Days of Dunkirk.

Moto took wrong turn at a r/bout, realised, started to turn, then was hit by a couple of riders, ploughing into him, who'd followed!
