kiddy
Froome, Contador and Quintana in the Vuelta? They're saying Froome's broken a couple of bones in one hand & the wrist of his other? Berties knee didn't look too clever. Quintana looks to be favourite for August, but it would make for a top race. Should be dry too.

Report I read about Froome stated that the fractures were very minor and wouldn't keep him off the bike long.

It does raise a fair point though, why does Virenque get to keep his polkadot jerseys which were won while he was cheating? Does anyone actually believe that Indurain won 5 TdF's on the trot whilst riding clean ? Was Pedro Delgado clean ? Was Bernard Hinault clean ? When was the last time anyone was clean ?

Very hard to be 100% sure on any of those, but the fact is that Armstrong eventually admitted that he cheated, so he deserves to be stripped of his titles IMO.

Don't think for a second that I'm supporting Armstrong. The point I'm trying to make is that there are many TdF winners from days gone by whose silence on the whole matter of doping is deafening, Indurain being the most obvious.
Desert Nomad
Evans a possible clean winner, although had tentative links to Ferrari. No comments from Carlos Sastre? He had no doping blemishes his entire career and won it the year after the unbelievable sight of Contador & Rasmussen going crazy in the mountains. Although he was managed by Riis and on the same team as the Schleck's. Didn't see any comments from him. Delgado got off on a technicality in 88, should've been stripped at the time ala Contador 2010 or Landis 2006. Desert Nomad
http://m.cyclingnews.com/news/mcquaid-says-he-started-menchov-doping-proceedings Fat Pat, the seeker of truth & justice. He and he alone caught Menchov Also Armstrong was a victim... Er what does that make Bassoons, Simeoni, the Andreu's, Lemond, O'Reilly and no doubt many others? The fact McQuaid still runs the show is a joke.

He must have missed the bit where Armstrong lied under oath and then used his political connections to get the FBI case dropped. The UCI might possibly be the only governing body that is even more corrupt than FIFA. Edited July 17, 2014 by peasy23
