JohnJohn
big break at the start of the race, the commentators have no clue what to make of it, 210km to go and they are panicking about a 4 min break away, the GB team are hardly putting the hammer down, i'll check back in about 2 hours to see what other insightful things I can learn from the bbc
T_S_A_R
best team ever? spain 2008: contador, sastre, valverde, sanchez and freire germany 2004 ulrich, kloden, voight, rich and zabel both a bit better than wiggins, froome, millar, stannard and cavendish Edited July 28, 2012 by T_S_A_R
Shuggie_Murray7
Nibali attacks and takes 2 Belgians with him, including Gilbert. Danger for GB here. I apologise to Sherwin and Liggett, they're only the second worst duo after the BBC. They have just said of the Gilbert/Nibali break away: "I wonder if Cavendish will attack here." Wut?
T_S_A_R
Philippe Gilbert (Belgium), Vincenzo Nibali (Italy), Gregory Rast (Switzerland), Andriy Grivko (Ukraine), Niki Terpstra (Netherlands), Luca Paolini (Italy), Sylvain Chavanel (France), Jack Bauer (New Zealand), Jakob Fuglsang (Denmark), Roman Kreuziger (Czech Republic) that's a strong chase group. if they get catch the breakaway they should make it to the end no problem.

Mr. Brightside
The coverage of this is terrible.
T_S_A_R
they could have at least asked the ASO how you check time gaps.
Mr. Brightside
My thinking exactly. I mean for fuck sake, waiting a whole lap to see the gaps?!
Shuggie_Murray7
I turned on at noon, took a good 45 minutes to figure who was where on the road. Atrocious. They are talking about "Oh here's ....." Aye, smashing. But where the f**k is he on the road.
Mr. Brightside
Hmm the commentators just said that they'd like to know the times. So fuck knows what is going on. Also I have had quite enough of these fucking super slow-mo's!
Shuggie_Murray7
They keep leaving 2-3 minute gaps of no commentary also.
Shengus Khan
I apologise to Sherwin and Liggett, they're only the second worst duo after the BBC. They have just said of the Gilbert/Nibali break away: "I wonder if Cavendish will attack here." Wut? The coverage of this is terrible. I just mentioned the commentary on the Olympic forum and how shite it is.. I like Chris Boardman on his ITV analysis duties but I don't think he's cut out for the commentary box. Not because of what he says but more because he can't fill in the long gaps with random shite like Eurosport. And Hugh Porter has been ....well the less said the better to be honest. He was getting himself worked up about a 2 minute breakaway despite there being over 200km to go!
Shuggie_Murray7
When they do give the time gaps, they seem to be a mile oot.

Mr. Brightside
I don't understand the people who do fuck all in the breakaway, do they not understand that they'll get caught if they don't work together? Lazy bastards.
Shuggie_Murray7
I don't understand the people who do f**k all in the breakaway, do they not understand that they'll get caught if they don't work together? Lazy b*****ds. Especially in a race like this. It's not like a day out getting exposure for a sponsor.

Shuggie_Murray7
"There's a 24 second gap to the trio" There's 4 of them.
Shuggie_Murray7
Nobody wants to do the work in the breakaway. What the fucks the point? Just sit up and go back to the main field.
