The Hero of the Day
All those bands are really shit . Stay at home. You've done alot in slating Rock bands on here. Do confess on what you listen to? Don't try to class Scooter and Basehunter as bands before you think about replying..

uberman
Aye, good spot, not many folk get that reference! Cannae beat a bit of LARD, if you like Jello Biafra stuff I'd reccommend the Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixen album Home Prairie Invasion, it's redneck country punk and it's tremendous.

Smurph
Bowling For Soup are doing an acoustic set at King Tuts on 12th April. Tickets go on sale Friday. Thinking of getting one. Enter Shikari are playing there on the 8th, one day after their Barrowlands gig. Anyone got some facial hair I could borrow?

die hard doonhamer
My next gig isn't really apt for this forum, it is in fact a comedy gig Stephen K Amos - 24th January - Perth Concert Hall
forkboy
Cannae beat a bit of LARD, if you like Jello Biafra stuff I'd reccommend the Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixen album Home Prairie Invasion, it's redneck country punk and it's tremendous. I need to hear far more of Jello's post-DK work. I do love the two records he made with The Melvins though.
Jack Donaghy
Already put this on another thread but going to see Jon Allen on February 15th at King Tut's, someone I would never have even heard of, had it not been for the fact that Animal Collective are listed as the support. Personally I think there has been a big mistake somewhere but this Jon Allen guy is actually alright so at worst it should be a pleasant evening. On the 17th I'm going to see Yeasayer also at King Tut's which should be superb. Also my friend is buying us tickets for Sunshine Underground at the ABC but no idea when it is
IainMorton
Bowling For Soup are doing an acoustic set at King Tuts on 12th April. Tickets go on sale Friday. Thinking of getting one. Just saw the prices for tickets - £30 plus £3.75 booking fee. I am not paying that amount of money for a gig at King Tuts, especially when it's only half the band (Jaret and Erik) that are showing up. Derek Patterson
Killing Joke playing Edinburgh Picture House on 15th April. Tempted by it. Truly frightening band.

uberman
I need to hear far more of Jello's post-DK work. I do love the two records he made with The Melvins though. I''ll need to track down those Melvins ones. Some other Jello Biafra stuff I have is The Sky Is Falling And I Want My Mummy with NoMeansNO, 3 LARD albums and the Mojo Nixen one, all of them are quite good. I'd also reccomend for you Virus 100 - A Tribute To The Dead Kennedys featuring Faith No More, Alice Donut and loads more doing covers of DK songs, here's NoMeansNO doing forward to death a capella style.

NotThePars
Frankie Boyle on the 26th of March Loads of if and buts for next music gig, the only tickets to a gig I've booked is Muse at Wembley Stadium which is without a doubt going to be the greatest thing ever
GypsyTillIDie
Aw, Jamie T was spunkingly good last night. The support act (The Cold Ones I think) were absolutely atrocious, but Jamie was terrific. Ending on Sticks n Stones was epic.
