wearealldoomed
Muse at Wembley on Saturday. Really looking forward to this, even though I'm missing the fives for the third year in a row as a result. Hopefully Div can announce the date at least 12 months in advance next time to allow me to clear my diary.
Reina
How many tickets have actually been sold for Rock Ness? There's still plenty available as far as I know so I wouldn't be too worried about not getting into the tent for Daft Punk and they probably clash with the Manics too. Although why anyone would want to see them over Daft Punk is beyond me. I went into the Daft Punk tent at about half 4pm and it was rammed full by about 6:30 - they weren't playing until 9pm - although I don't think they came on until 10 - cue angry crowd. Holy shit they were worth the wait though. I had planned to leave halfway through and go and see the Manics for a bit, but Daft Punk were so good that I decided not to bother! Chemical Brothers were awesome too, but Daft Punk totally stole the show, the crowd was amazing! Singing along to One More Time was unreal! They were worth the £100 on their own. Colin M
Will be going to see Brian Wilson in September in Edinburgh! Five years ago the thought that I would ever see him perform was ridiculous, and this will be the 4th time On top of that there's Prince in August and Bjork at the start of September at the Connect Festival. Hurrah!

Aye, I misjudged that one slightly. I've seen youtube vids of Daft Punk's set and the atmosphere seemed cracking. I'm glad it was all a great success. To be frank I wasn't that impressed with the Rock Ness line-up as it was full of acts whose moment has kind of past, not that many of them aren't always brilliant live. It bodes well for the future though and hopefully there'll be an even better line-up next year! I hear on the grapevine that Skye made a loss which I'm not surprised at all given the strength of the line-up there, but it just didn't have enough punters to justify the excellent bookings. It's great for the fans because you can always get so close to the acts and the banter was great but I fear it might've had quite a negative impact on the future of the festival.

Reina
Ryan's in London at the moment, waiting for Pearl Jam. Wish I was there! He just sent a text to say that he and his pal went for a look around Wembley, but they've been escorted off the premesis by some jobsworth steward. I didn't realise that Rock Steady worked down there too....
Pink Freud
I saw Muse at Wembley last night. They were awesome. Wembley errr.....wasn't. Don't get me wrong, fantastic stadium, but the security and sense of corporate rip off stank. They sure know how to make you feel like a number. £7 for a burger, £.50 for a wee bottle of Carlsberg. Never again. Seriously.
