The_Craig
Today looks like a day to dust the old girl down. Going to make a steak pie. Just one question, with or without sausage?

tinkerbelle
Today looks like a day to dust the old girl down. Going to make a steak pie. Just one question, with or without sausage? Only use Lorne sausage as it does not go as mushy in a slow cooker as square sausage does.
The_Craig
I use beef links. It's just that Mrs the_craig and her lot are appalled at the fact I have the audacity to put sausage in a steak pie. Best bit IMO.

Rugster
Had a beef stew on Saturday. Put it inside hollowed out Tiger Loaf Bloomer and it was fantastic. FP, this is the one I've got, does two of us comfortably. http://www.tesco.com/direct/crock-pot-35l-black-slow-cooker/207-1034.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=207-1034

Baggio
I've had a bunch of stuff in the slow cooker recently - the famous pulled pork, beef and aubergine curry, lamb rogan josh to name but a few and all were delicious. Tomorrow I will be making a chilli with stewing beef for the first time. Just going to make it up as I go I think. I cannot wait till dinner time.
