around midnight, this thing stoated up, stood there, so i ran over to it, it still stood there, then i punched f**k out of it

Maybe

You have to wait until it starts attacking the cattle before you attack it, so that the quest triggers that you've "found" the culprit. I mean it's pretty fucking obvious that if a massive, crazy-looking nightkin is standing next to the cattle pen that he's about to eat them, but until you actually see it you can't complete the quest.

what level are you all at

Level 15.

Anyone else been playing it in Hardcore mode? You can really only afford to carry a few guns at a time with the rest of the inventory been taking up with armour, ammo, food and water. It isnt too hard to keep the food & water sorted you just have to raid all the fridges lying about. Some of the enemies are a hell of alot harder took us forever to take down a couple of those robots which are armed with missles and machine guns.

Just completed No Gods, No Masters. And by just I mean just. Fuck me that was hard, I done the NCR's final mission then did this, it was about ten times harder.

How did you manage to beat Legate Lanius and the army that follows him, that mission is driving me fucking mental

Not done much of the main quest here, the one I've currently to do is to go and confront some felly at a Casino. Got a few side missions on the go before I go and do that!

I've done even less than that

I'm about level 18, have spent 33 gaming hours on it. I can't get the plasma sniper rifle as I added the wild west thing at the start. Also didn't turn on arcemedies II so can't use the solar gun either. Boo! just made it to the Strip and have a feeling there is still loads left. only discovered about 60 of the locations out of 125 or so. Loving this game though - utterly phenomenal.

Also noticed on map there is a good springs, a primm and a nipton in reality. I had not idea. Didn't know that the bonnie and clyde thing was real as is the rollercoaster! I'm going to go :)

I have a question....

I went to the strip to try and get in, I met up with 'The King', He told me to go hire this guy and watch for any strange activities so I did this and he killed a few guys. I went back to the king and he told me the info I had was not good enough and to go hire that guy again, I did this but he just leads me down the street and starts shooting at me because someone saw me going in to speak to the king after I hired him. I take it that mission is now failed even though it's still open for me to complete??

I'm really not too sure where to go next due to this so I've found myself doing side missions just outside the strip trying to see if I can find out more info sad.gif

I've clocked up about 40 hours now. Made some in-roads to the main story and now at the stage were I have to decide what faction to work for it isnt as black & white as Fallout 3 when it was obvious the Brotherhood of Steel were the good guys and Enclave the bad guys.

I see the first DLC - Dead money has been announced to be launched on december 21st!! This is the perfect incentive to get all my crimbo shopping done and have a few days off to kick back and enjoy before getting something new on the 25th.

X-box only at first so not so great for PS3 and PC users but unless you live Mojave for the next month i'm sure there is plenty to keep you going!!

Better be a bit better than 3's Downloadable content. Mothership Zeta and Anchorage were rank - even if you got the Gauss Rifle from the later. The Pitt was average, Point Lookout was actually decent but could be finished in just over an hour.

Dare I say it needs a Broken Steel-esque DC eventually?
