Derek Patterson
What's that song in the intro to it? It sounds like Metallica but different and I can't name the song I'm also sickened with myself by Diamond Head. Metallica famously covered it.
forehead7
by Diamond Head. Metallica famously covered it. Yes! I only played the start to all of Metallica's songs from Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets and none rang any bells. Cheers. It would explain why it sounded different. I like how in the Metallica version on Youtube, they have the Kill Em All cover as the background. NorthernLights
Just randomly found that on the iplayer. Quite good. Still up here for a few days. As is Anvil! The Story of Anvil Watched it for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
forehead7
I like how in the Metallica version on Youtube, they have the Kill Em All cover as the background. It seems by the various youtube replies I've received that Am I Evil and Blitzkreig were originally on Kill Em All but when Garage Inc came about they re-released Kill Em All without it, or the other way about.
DomDom
I think it was the other way about, because my version of Kill Em All has the two songs.
forehead7
I think it was the other way about, because my version of Kill Em All has the two songs. What so they re-released Kill Em All without the covers then decided to do a covers album?
DomDom
Well, the first Garage EP came out in 1987, so I'm assuming the two tracks were added after that.
Mik
Brian Tatler is one of the coolest guys i've met, says the royalties for metallicas Am I Evil paid for his pool
Derek Patterson
As is Anvil! The Story of Anvil Watched it for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Aye. I mind hearing about that the other year when it first came out. Just finished watching it there. Very good. Seem to have some decent tunes too. Have to admire their dedication to the music they love.

Mik
Oh well, The Iron Maiden announcement was for a wold tour with no UK dates.....but it does say: "UK fans - don't worry, we most certainly haven't forgotten you... you're next!!" which would suggest that UK dates are to be announced soon

IainMorton
Me too. Seen them twice. Supporting the Irons and headlining at Fat Sams. I have seen them nine times since 2006! - 2006 - Download Festival, Iron Maiden support @ SECC 2007 - headlining gig @ Carling Academy, The Black Crusade w/ Machine Head @ SECC 2008 - Unholy Alliance w/ Slayer @ Carling Academy, headlining gig @ Fat Sams 2009 - Download Festival 2010 - headlining gig @ Inverness Ironworks, headlining gig @ Barrowlands I have seen a lot of bands live, but nothing beats a Trivium gig IMHO. Can't wait for the new album next year and for them to tour again!

forehead7
I've heard small very small rumblings of a Black Sabbath reunion for one of the festivals. I would be surprised if it happened but I wouldn't be shocked. If Sabbath and System of A Down both were at Download then I would be there, for sure.
