Just seen that QotS have signed Gavin Reilly.

I should imagine that it's now time to begin panicking and slaughtering McGlynn for sitting with his finger up his arse.....

Thank the fucking lords for that.

I know there will have been hope about a bigger friendly but Chelsea were never going to schedule a match against a League 1 Scottish side as part of their pre-season schedule. If they did it would be their U18 team.

Choosing whether or not to go based on the opposition is missing the point.

Crunchie will be there and welcomed on the pitch to allow the chance for fans to show their appreciation and to mark the new stand name. Would have hoped that would have been enough reason to go.

Yeah, or even just part of the game with the original players.

Couldn’t quite get everyone for the lock-in and not all will be able to make the friendly either. Also presumes that they’ll want to play!

I'm not a fan of friendlies in the slightest but if i'm off work, the chance to sing the wee mans name again is more than enough for me.

ETA, I sincerely think i'll have to hold the tears in watching an aging Crunchie and remembering him lighting up Brockville, surrounded by the utter fucking jobbers we have to endure now.

You probably would've been promoted if we'd let you keep Dowds.

It’s still too soon mate

But I was being genuine asking about Griffiths. McGlynn wouldn’t accept any shite. If he stayed he’d have to have been fit and could’ve maybe been massive player for you

Still think you’ll win league

Going to hear Dick Campbell speaking at an event in Grangemouth on Friday.

Not sure what it’s all about but was invited by a pal.

Seriously? Let’s hold a friendly to celebrate 25 years since losing the final? Who’s bright idea was that.

If that’s the best you can do why not just wait and make the first league match the unveiling.

Yet another horrendous decision from our leaders.

Surely satire. If not give yourself peace.

It’s nothing to do with celebrating losing a final, it’s to recognise a club legend. Doesn’t really matter who we play.

I was thinking that McGlynn should have told Griffiths: get yourself a PT and we'll give you a contract if you come back to us fully fit. That wouldn't work for two reasons though.

1) There's not a chance in hell that Griffiths would apply himself to do the necessary work and 2) If he did manage it he'd get a gig much further up the chain than us.
