saints1884
We have just upgraded our internet to 1mb and were wondering how you find out the speed? Thanks for your help.
Swarley
Do you see a wee icon of two monitors in the bottom right hand of your screen ? Hover your mouse cursor over it and it will tell you. Mine says "1.1 Mbps" which means that Wanadoo recently upgraded me to 1Mb !
Akritoi
Could always hit it, don't know if it works but it will keep the computer in order, show it who's boss

Div
The link speed, and the speed of the network connection is actually the speed at which your computer is communicating with your router and not actually your broadband internet connection speed. If you are connecting via an ethernet cable to your router your connection speed will be reported as being either 10Mb or 100Mb, neither of which is your internet speed.
