It was in the big pullout match report section Fair enough. Never read the Record but saw that article on a Facebook link earlier. Thought it was a decent piece. eez-eh
The Record and BBC Sport have Kevin Nisbet as assisting our winning goal on Saturday. This is despite Nicky Devlin running from his own half and crossing the ball in for the assist with no other Ayr players near him.
Diamond Oracle
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37345980Seems they don't even bother spell checking their articles now.Without "Captain Skipper" Lee Kilday and "Forward" Ricki Lamie Morton have no hope imo. RandomGuy.
They done that with us before. Described a goal as being a long range strike into the top corner, I got all excited waiting to see it, only for it to be a bundled goal scored by someones arse from three yards out. Stu
Chick Young has a weekly column in the Paisley Daily Express. After last week's belter where he was genuinely pushing for Jim Duffy to be the next Scotland boss, he returns to talking about the club he claims to support - presumably the reason why he is offered a page to waffle in each week. In this week's article he states: Morton are coming to Greenhill Road on Tuesday - the game is at Cappielow Our former player who scored for Aberdeen on Saturday is called Kenny MacLean - it's McLean Dumbarton are the only part-time side in the division - he may be right on that one (stopped clock and all that) but do Ayr not have a fair number of part-time players? I believe Ayr are officially part-time, think that their 'full-time' players actually have roles as Academy coaches or something. May well be wrong though. Either way, 'Chico' was meant to have retired ages ago, yet he seems to be everywhere these days. Darned shame.

STUL
The report on the Bairns/Smurren in todays Sunday Mail says "Baird reacted to a challenge from Miller" (for the sending off). IIRC Baird went right through Miller and Miller was awarded the free kick just before Baird struck him.
