ICTChris
What a terrible strip Everton were wearing yesterday.
Jacksgranda
5 points from fixtures with Watford (h), Southampton (a), Manchester City (h) and Tottenham (a). I think I'd have hoped for 6, so 5 is fine with me, particularly after the opening day draw with Watford. Also a fighting performance in the League Cup to win at Barnsley.
Waffelz
Hopefully Martinez plays the following before too long: Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas; Lukaku
Larbert_Par
Deulofeu is due a start. Turned it around at Barnsley. A shame to lose Cleverley yesterday as I've been impressed with him so far. Not the greatest game yesterday but happy with a clean sheet and point.
Estragon
Just finished watching it there, recorded it as I was at EEP. Very accomplished away performance and one of the best of RM's reign. Lukaku was unplayable today but I think credit has to go to the decision to play Kone, and his performance. Provided a good balance in attack. Lovely finish from Barkley for his goal but he should've scored first half. I'd have been very happy with a point down there so that's a tremendous result. John Stones again showed his quality for me too. Very impressed and looking forward to my first visit to Goodison this season next Sunday for the City game that little bit more now. I actually really like Kone. His chances have been fairly limited certainly, but more often than not he puts in a good performance - was unlucky with his late header against Spurs too. I'd reckon that this will be his last season though.
accies1874
Funes Mori signs for £9.5m. No idea who he is.
Estragon
An Argentinian forward with a poorer record over there than Denis Stracqualursi...
David W
He's a centre half.
accies1874
Didn't realise that was the same player that was supposedly signing for around £5m last week In other news the BBC are trying to form some sort of story from Lukaku. Claiming he's going to United... Most likely nothing in it but if there is then there better be someone waiting in the wings.
Estragon
He's a centre half. Not according to Wikipedia, and he's 5 in 6 this season in Mexico.
Christophe
Not according to Wikipedia, and he's 5 in 6 this season in Mexico. He's a left-sided centre-half signed from River Plate, no idea who you're looking up in Mexico -

Estragon
Well this is a mis-step..... I was thinking of a different Wendy Shepherd-Henderson...
Christophe
Well this is a mis-step..... I was thinking of a different Wendy Shepherd-Henderson... Bishop Briggs
Papy Djilobodji has signed for Chelsea for £4million. Quite a bit cheaper than Stones!
Larbert_Par
Tim Vickery on Five Live earlier reckoned Mori will flop. Really wasn't complimentary at all. Surely can't be any worse than Alcaraz. Happy Lennon's in but still think there's a lack of depth in defence and up front.
Jacksgranda
I don't envy Everton's fixture list for the next couple of months. So far, so good!

Estragon
Reasonable draw in the next round, I'm expecting more than one of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea to bow out at this stage.
