They said they're quite happy now that it's back within football. You can read that as Rangers are off the hook with threats from FIFA, the SFA are off the hook with threats from FIFA or FIFA are now content the SFA will hand out a bitch slapping for Rangers going to court in the first place now the matter is back within the game.

Not good enough.........as said previously, if this happens Scottish football can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned and I don't think I'm on my own in that sentiment. mad.gif

I absolutely agree but going newco for the gers is on the cards and the powers that be couldna give a flying fcuk what the fans think or want and have shown it.

! NO BALLS ! has the SFA.
Agreed, and he got a red dot for it

Interestingly Tojo was going for the War Crimes, tried to shoot himself in the heart and missed, the yanks saved him so he could hang. Whilst waiting, they fitted him with new dentures (why?) and wrote ''Remember Pearl Harbour'' in morse code on them. Wankers.

Though, this is like a newco getting a stadium with every SFA affiliated clubs scarfes embedded in the foundation with ''Remember the cheating'' on all of them.
Which would be sound!

Apart from the newco bit. Let them die.

I was at a charity fete on Saturday and there was a computer generated African village on a screen whereby you paid £1 to buy a brick, hit the send button, and a new brick appeared on the new proposed building, and you could see the building being built.

It got me wondering, if we got enough donations on here, could it be done in reverse ? I've said from the very begining that this is what I think will happen although I would like to think UEFA/FIFA will get involved if the SFA/SPL try to brush everything under the carpet.

Not holding my breath though ! mad.gif

What statement's this? I've had a look on the BBC website, but don't see anything?

I think No.8 is trying out some new bait...................of course this very much depends upon which No.8 turns up ! tongue.gif

Jane Lewis ‏@JaneLewisSport

Fifa confirm what BBC Scotland told you on Friday nite. On the #Rangers #SFA dispute -today they say ''there is no need for us to become involved with it being back within the sporting system which is in accordance with our own statutes.''

It's been tweeted by Jane Lewis. Essentially states what we thought anyway - FIFA are happy again now that it's within the confines of football.

Ahh gotcha.

I've lost touch with the story a wee bit - gonna have to sit down tonight and catch up. Other than Greener and the SFA having a mini spat in the press, has anything else actually really happened, other than No.8's FIFA statement?

Nothing. I think both sides have retired to their respective corners in view of battle recommencing tomorrow after the SFA AGM. Green and Duffteam may also get in on the action if they have a statement celebrating the handover.

According to MENSA Online Rainjurz Meeja, it was allegedly announced on BBC Scotland at 5.40 pm today (feck me, they can read and tell the time). Presumably this was a "the BBC understands" piece of pish so best ignored.

I'd be very surprised if FIFA made any direct statement to the press.

Edit :- Who is Jane Lewis ?

Jane Lewis is a BBC journalist - she was the journalist who reported on FIFA contacting the SFA for the BBC website earlier on in the month.

What exactly did the supposed statement say? Sounds like it might have been positive for Rangers, with No.8 pointing it out and all the non-OF fans ignoring it?

I've just read TRAYNOR'S bit o mince !

"If it were suggested Rangers should be banned from next season's Scottish Cup - which could cost them up to £750,000 - the SFA and the club would be foolish not to latch on to it."

At what point of that punishment equates to the multi millions Rangers dodged in not paying PAYE/NI ?.

Surely the punishment should equate to the amount they dodged like a 5 year ban from the Scottish Cup as well forfeiting their place to the Juniors cup winner in the League Cup !.Surely that's a more apt punishment totaling to the amount of money the Rangers have failed to pay the HMRC just for Craigies exploits I'd have thought instead of another slap on the wrist 1 year ban from the Scottish Cup.

And how dare that FAT PR*CK TRAYNOR assume the Rangers would have reached the final anyhow by his costings ! are the gers playing all home games ? for all we know Fat Sally's recent record would only have had them play 3 games in the 2 cups each season.

Good grief, if you think think Rangers media is bad get a load of the Daily Record hotline today....

Jim Graham Greenock - "Why don't Rangers show Duff and Phelps the door? They're the tail that's wagging the dog called Scottish football"laugh.giflaugh.gif

I have no idea where to start with that.

This 1 is worrying though...

Edward Lowe - "No way will the SFA close Rangers down and even the most bitter Celtic fan wouldn't want that to happen anyway.

John Barnes@JohnBarnes01 Re Rangers v SFA, FIFA tell BBC Scotland:"There is no need for us to become involved with it being back within the sporting system which..

John Barnes@JohnBarnes01

...is in accordance with our own statutes. "At the moment it is a watching brief from our point of view."

I'm guessing it has something to do with this?

Not sure this changes much, but I assume that's what No.8 is getting at.

Green has come out waving his skuds in the air and the skid marks were there for all to see. The SFA told him it was his fault.

Some nomark fuckwit named Leggo has claimed all sorts against Stewart Regan and he'll expose a catholic conspiracy against Rangers from within the corridors at the BBC.

It would also seem H&D may not have been paying HMRC their dues for the time they have been running the club.

Had a piss up weekend away myself,so was expecting a long haul to catch up...this saves me a lot of back logging.Cheers buddy :D
