roverthemoon
When does the newco have to start paying tax from? No expert but as far as I am aware they won't have to pay Tax on any income until after one years trading. They will have to start paying PAYE and VAT much sooner

calum_gers
Youngsy claimed to have renewed his season ticket All the ST's were automatically renewed. (Whether they are legally allowed to do that is another question).

chico
All the ST's were automatically renewed. (Whether they are legally allowed to do that is another question). Saw claims earlier today that oldco is collecting the cash as Newco doesn't have banking facilities. I'd be curious how that works and surely cash cannot go in and back out of the club in liquidation.
Happy Buddie
1983. That photo reminds me why, when Davie Dodds was signed by The Old Rangers, he was on the bench so much...............it was in case the game turned ugly.

Forever Diamond
Well the longer it is going on money...or should i say,Greens lack of it is becoming more apparent. Just wondering now if we will actually have to wait until the 4th of July to get an end to it.
KnightswoodBear
All the ST's were automatically renewed. (Whether they are legally allowed to do that is another question). Mine wasn't. I wrote to them and cancelled. Also removed Rangers from my direct debit list on my bank account just in case they took the money "accidentally".
Happy Buddie
1983. And what also shocks me , and probably goes to show what a great team that was, is that I can identify 8 or 9 of them, more than I could with the current St Mirren squad.

Araminta Moonbeam QC
1340196113' post='6354816']All the ST's were automatically renewed. (Whether they are legally allowed to do that is another question). Unlucky supporters can claim their money back via the DD guarantee through their bank . However, if the money is being taken by OldCo, then what a bunch of shysters. Not surprised.
Araminta Moonbeam QC
1340196829' post='6354860']1983, Stand Free I'd almost forgotten the decade of the short shorts. That was when the game in this country was great. And not just because of the shorts.
Chazza1910
Just listening to 'Off The Ball' as recommended, and I can recommend it too. Only 3 days left! As Stuart and Tam say, why should the SPL let in a club who are artificially debt-free? Absolutely no club, bar Kilmarnock - Johnston is an embarrassment to Scottish football - can vote The Rangers in surely?
roverthemoon
Looking at those two photos from 1983 - what a glorious period. Just wish I'd appreciated it more at the time
gaz5
All the ST's were automatically renewed. (Whether they are legally allowed to do that is another question). Eh, Naw, they were not. Season tickets don't auto renew. Never have. And anyone who willingly signed up for one and handed over any cash is a fucking buffoon.
