SS-18 ICBM Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Oooooffft! I really don't think Tedi should be posting on here unsupervised today - or at least, not without the other Amigos to back him up. What a fucking meltdown.... It doesn't take much to put down Ellis...i mean Carlito...eh i mean Tedi, it's as easy as liquidating Rangers. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SS-18 ICBM Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Just a thought on chuckles wee outburst yesterday, when sevco were signing players a few months back, wasn't there reports about chuck & ally telling the players that Sevco would be back in the top flight "sooner than expected" or words to that effect ? Is it possible that some of these players could have something in their contracts about that? Could that be why old chuckie was getting a bit pissed off with this restructuring idea, because he was under the impression that any restructuring would help sevco get back quicker ? Obviously i've no idea if these reports were true or crap in the 1st place, but i thought i'd throw my "thought" in here anyway. I missed replying to this post during another Tedi meltdown. The Rangers International FC cannot get back to somewhere that they have never been! So that is definitely not the reason for the daily meltdowns coming from them or their fans. However, i don't rule out the real possibility that they conned some of their players into believing that they would not have to wait the 'minimum of' three years that it will take for the new club to win promotion to the top league in Scotland. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Funnily enough, half eight is a wee bit early for bed when you're grown up. Enjoy your lonely sofa. At least you've got Tedi and Bendarroch to keep you virtual company. Just like every night. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bearwithme Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 "However, this risk is mitigated by the fact that any restructuring of Scottish football may enable the Club to return to the top division of Scottish football sooner than currently anticipated and to therefore benefit from access to different sources and levels of income." Note the word "may". 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mad Capsule Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 What are these rumors I hear of Rangers applying to MLS? Bollocks obviously, but source anyone? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 What are these rumors I hear of Rangers applying to MLS? Bollocks obviously, but source anyone? I'd imagine they are about as true as Rangers having 500 million worldwide fan base willing to pay to watch them in the 3rd div, or Claudio Reyna becoming a club ambassador for them in the states (according to chuckie, not Claudio) 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 CHIEF EXECUTIVE Charles Green has revealed that European club debts of the oldco Rangers have been paid or settled. There was no compunction for newco to pay or contribute to any monies owed by the former owners. There was money owed, for example, to Palermo for Dorin Goian and St Etienne for Carlos Bocanegra. However, Green has decided that the honourable thing to do was to come to arrangements with all of the clubs who were owed money and he has done that with liquidators BDO. He said: "What we have done since we came to Rangers was to act properly and not just for the best interests of Rangers but for football as a whole. "We have a fiduciary duty and a responsibility to our share-holders and we want to run this club honourably and be fully transparent. "Coming to agreements with all of the European clubs where we paid all of the debts or reached settlements with them is another example of the commitment 'new' Rangers have made and not turning our back or walking away from oldco's responsibilities. "So we have put down a marker in that regard and what we want to do now is get UEFA and FIFA onside. I have spoken to both organisations informally and in the next few months we will have some formal conversations." What about the rest of the creditors? Don't they count Ah right, they are only doing it for the benefit of FIFA & UEFA. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
