Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

It's open Kinky, I've never had a log in but I can see their stuff now.

Thanks Stoned. I assumed one had to have a membership which I know most who post here do. Doesn't make good reading, of course and simply confirms what some posters on here have been saying. Nae heid in the sand. We have a fuckin problem.

Where you been, anyway, ya crotchety old fecker? ;)

Thanks, Killie. I've been to Stavanger. Drinking beer at £12 a pint (well 600ml) and running the gauntlet of Nigerian whores on my way back to the hotel.

On the upside 1. seared whale with a lime froth was delicious and 2. I have 5x50g of Golden Virginia to keep me going. For a week ;)

You can't even tell us the difference between a "club and a "company"

A lot of the seethe must come from not just dying but the it happened, as soon as you went into administration everyone got to see "dignity FC" for what it really was

Bunch of crooks who fleeced everyone from the taxman to local businesses, leaving them all out of pocket because you couldn't afford to pay the monies you owed.

It was such a slow public embarrassing death for dignity FC, blaming everyone for its own mess, marching to the steps of Hampden like right twats trying desperately to lay the fault at the SFA, making threats against other clubs.

 The embarrassment levels are off the scale.

I do think this is one of the reasons "the people" have becoming more and more nasty over this self inflicted death, they can't cope with the humiliation knowing they will be forever tainted with the events of 2012. The campaign to whitewash over it has failed in a big way.

Even pikeys have more honour ...

The biggest problem when reading that account info is simple, it's in the responses below.

50% of the fans understand the predicament and are obviously worried for the club they love.

The other 50% are doing that whole it's only one mans opinion blah blah and while it may be so even if those figures are wrong and it's only half the figure stated alarm bells should be ringing like crazy.

Twelve quid. That would explain why all the Scandinavians in York are so cheerful - they must think the whole country's on a permanent Happy Hour!

My GV Fairy should be dropping five packs off in the morning - I love having mates who spend the "non-smoking savings" on getting my baccy - oh, and having a holiday at the same time. ;)

The seared whale thing reminds me of a question I've never got a reasonable answer to: You know how Tuna gets branded as "dolphin friendly"? Well, has anyone ever taken the time to find out what dolphins taste like? Because they're fucking massive, and would make a great centrepiece for a beach party, turning slowly on a spit...

surely there is someone out there with wealth off the radar who can step up and save the day.

Someone ftom their half a billion fanbase (perhaps a Dallas cowboy) will come in. They are too big. It wont happen. The rest of Scotland will melt into the sea without them. Etc etc

Somebody must be paying attention - over 8% drop in the shares value today.

Now I can't remamber if that's good because the fans can afford more shares, or bad because the club company holding company's value has dropped.

I wish Tedi was here to help... :(

How about a Motherwell boy with a double dose of Rangersitis and Rangersness coursing through his blue blood. With years at the top of his cut throat profession he must have accured wealth of the radar. Yes give Gordon Dalziel a call sure he's the man fir the joab.

There is. The problem is he likes to shout from the sidelines at anyone that he takes a disliking to while not parting with a penny of his own money!

Which clubs do you really not like and for what reasons? Genuinely interested btw.

I don't really have an intense and complete dislike for any of them these days. It's difficult to loathe every aspect of a club when, often enough, it's a section of any given support that irks. For that reason, and when they visit Ibrox, I obviously loathe the sporting wing hordes.

I'm only slightly less hating of Abhergreen (and only then because of the song 'celebrating' the Ibrox disaster) with the rest usually arriving in such pitiful numbers it's difficult to raise interest above don't care either way. They obviously don't.

For their online activities - I'm pretty consistent in that I'd wish each club a healthy dose of that wished for us.

But, I do also have some classic fitba supporter, completely irrational hatred of certain clubs. I can't stand Falkirk, St Johnstone, Cardiff City, Millwall, Monaco, Roma, Copenhagen or Sparta Prague.

It's not. It's really not. I can think of two straight away.

ETA: In your charming way, you appear to be confusing "clubs" with "fans of clubs".* Unless, of course, you've got footage of Milne singing about the ibrox disaster. But that would be stupid, because a senior representative of a football club wouldn't be daft enough to get filmed singi...oh, right. Let's move swiftly along.

*And still confusing "clubs" with "companies", but we're not gonna get anywhere with that one, are we?

Norway is the worst. I haven't been to Stockholm for a year but it's about about £6 for 50cl of "Stark ol".. Maybe some of the Scandi P&B posters can confirm?

Playing devil's advocate, an 'insolvency event' this season might not actually be that bad for them.

I would still fancy them to romp the league by 20+ points, they are carrying little if any debt, and even with a registration ban you would fancy this squad to comfortably come top 2 in the Championship next season?
