pozbaird
Splendid, excellent. Has your club been reported to the EU for State Aid as well? I think we were reported to them for giving Tommy fcuking Craig the manager's gig. Maybe it was the Court for Human Rights. Stag Nation
Again no of course not. What's hard to understand that it would provoke that sort of reaction towards goading away fans ripping the pish? Stop living in cloud f*ckin cuckoo land!! Violence as a response to verbal mockery is totally unacceptable in a civilised society (even Govan). It seems the Berz would be on the side of the terrorists rather than Charlie Hebdo.

WhiteRoseKillie
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-mccarthy-66-reasons-rangers-5001307 The use of the Ibrox disaster dead by the opponents of Ashley is utterly despicable and opportunistic: a vile and desperate tactic in my view. Utter scum, why does anybody wish to be associated with this disgusting organisation? Bennett, No8 and Tedi will be along to condemn them ... no doubt. I mean the use of the statue in a joke is abhorrent to them. This is much worse .. a direct reference and all ... Utter scumbags. Saw that earlier. What vile, vile pish. And all referring to THE disaster.... While printing a photo which even the densest must be thinking "looks like more than 66 names up there". Journalists as lazy and thick as their target audience. -
accietilleyedye
The 'alleged' goading took place before the game and some 'alleged' slaps were dished out , but the substantiated trouble was after the attempted game. Does it really take that long for the Rangers fans to react to some banter? Also why are the media and Rangers fans under the impression that giving security on Ibrox to Ashley means he owns Ibrox, do none of them believe that RIFC can pay back the monies that they would be borrowing against the securities?
cyderspaceman
The goading by Hearts fans was a stupid thing to do, in no way does it excuse the reaction of a noisy and irritable group venting their spleen, but understandable given the circumstances. It would be at any club. Anyone denying that it was just asking for trouble is living on another planet. No it was not. Football fans often goad each other. It's just that supremacist fans of 'The Rangers' can't take it when they are on the receiving end.

Within the confines of the stadium, segregation is usually a sufficient barrier to keep apart opposing fans goading each other. The group of Hearts fan who purposely went round the opposite side of the stadium to taunt those protesting outside must have known an intentional confrontation in an already volatile atmosphere was going to cause trouble. I'm not condoning the reaction of some of our supporters but it's obvious what was bound to ensue.

Two questions for you: 1. Did you personally follow them round, or have other proof of this? 2. Are the roads and pavements around ibrox not public?

shizzlemanizzle
The "goading" outside the main entrance didn't even happen, No.8 made it up to allow him to justify (in his eyes) the violence perpetrated on Hearts fans.

No8.
Nah, see the rest of us, we wouldn't feel the burning shame of knowing we did f**k all to stop the thing we supposedly loved dying. We would have laughed it off, funny how you can't. Isn't it? I cant remember an Aberdeen game at Ibrox that has passed without YOUR CLUBS supporters causing mayhem in and around the stadium. From slashing pensioners to attacking kids to not hitting Andy Cameron hard enough. I wont be lectured to by a guy who follows a club whose greatest claim in the last 20 years is they had a not bad casual firm.
OTIG_FTOF
Oh my, so much for the cultured persona that jags fans love to portray. No danger of Sevco fans being thought of, as cultured.
