vikingTON
I'd hold fire on Longmuir for now. All he's said is that he has has a number of short and medium term senarios to place before the clubs. He hasn't publicly backed any of them yet. Nope sorry, I don't think Longmuir should be wasting his breath collaborating with the bodies above him on this. The 'breakaway' SPL2 plan is a direct attack on the integrity of the SFL, and there is no doubt he was made fully aware of this 'nuclear' option. He has failed his member clubs. Even if SFL1 clubs take the bribe, they represent 1/3 of his total membership. Were the Third Division clubs consulted about a pyramid system that could kick them out of the professional game? Either every club is in on the conspiracy or Longmuir has massively overstepped his authority. Get him to f**k, now. f**k it, lets have someone from the Raith board leading our league at the moment. They have more stones than just about anyone else in this farce.
Claymores
So basically the Spl are saying if Sfl clubs dont accept the proposal of Sevco dropping into Div 1 they will form Spl 2 and invite Sevco? Want to make sure im up to date. Not only that ............they'd invite SF1 to become SPL2 and cut SFL2 & 3 clubs adrift..................it is pressure on SFL2 & 3 not to object to the 'grand plan' - we are 20 votes of the SFL vote who could scupper things as not really being offered a crust of their plans to save Cevco FC

Paulo Sergio
Well, there you are. The SPL clubs (with the current exception of Aberdeen) have bottled it, frankly, and are trying to bribe SFL clubs to bail them out. There will probably be another Vlad statement ASAP I would imagine. Hopefully he tears into them again, or better yet, ride right up the Clyde in his sub and nuke the fucking SPL/SFL/SFA headquarters.
Shuggie_Murray7
Peter A Smith @PeterAdamSmithIt's claimed the SPL has no contingency plan yet for commercial consequences of Rangers not winning immediate promotion from SFL1. So basically they are saying they are banking on them being promoted first time round? f**k off then you corrupt c***s. Dungolfin
http://sport.stv.tv/...-rangers-plans/ "SPL threaten breakaway second tier if clubs do not agree to Rangers plans" Games a bogey! I take it the 'we've got to listen to our fans' line that was trotted out last week to justify blocking Sevco's admission to the SPL was complete bullsh*t. Just a convenient excuse to shut up the season ticket buying punters cattle until normal service is resumed. It's actually got nothing to do with sporting integrity, nothing to do with what the fans want, at the end of the day it's simply about what they reckon they can get away with. Now we're back to the bully boy tactics, threats and intimidation...much like Rangers in fact. They f*cked up Scottish football big time when they created the SPL and tried to keep all the money to themselves but rather than learn from past mistakes they're trying do it all over again with a divide and conquer strategy. Surely the SFA need to flex some muscle here and tell the SPL board to f*ck right off.

That clubs will have to transfer some players and cut some wages. They can go f**k themselves.

Granny Danger
Well Stuart Milne has stated his position, what about Vlad and Steven Thomson. Also Rod Petrie was quoted early on, when is he going to speak out.
Chazza1910
This can't be true. What's the point of having a voting system then? One body for the game and Rangers down into Div 3, simple. No more slimy SPL. Alternatively, because we don't want to see any clubs go out of business, tell us how bad it is. Want to see figures for those clubs who are up shit creek. No hiding place. OK, partly driven by the fact that we were humiliated.

Help Ma Boab
One things for sure. When all the dust has settled, this needs to be looked into by the Scottish Government, or a report like Henry McLeish did. The way our national bodies have acted since the start of this affair has been nothing short of embarassing.
