Ah dodgy Dave, let's do the SFA's suitable person test on himlaugh.gif

Is Rangers gonnae just be used as a money laundering scam by every crook in the country?

Aren't any reputable people interested in buying them?

The thing is most of the blue knights were former rangers directors if the SFA can prove any evidence of second contracts, then most of the blue knights fail that test.

One thing that disappoints me about the media is that they have never asked David Murray the easy question of "Did you have a guarantee for the 18 million pound loan from the Bank"

Such as easy question that has not been answered yet, still the media will continue to have a witch hunt on Whyte.

That £18 milion debt to Lloyds was seperated out from the Murray Group of Companies overall debt, rangers as an entity were used as a loss maker in the group and the 'debt' attached to rangers could have been much bigger. Numbers like 50 or 65 Million have been said in the past.

A radio interview with Alistair Johnston said as much he thought rangers debts could have been left in the Murray Group but the bank (after the Lloyds takeover) wanted Rangers standing out of the group and placed the debt to the bank at 18M.

The rangers board tried to fight that, but led to the banker on the board situation.

As for Murray guaranteeing that, probably no need given value of property assets and Rangers annual turnover

Read through the Court ruling and there seems no reference to what price season tickets should be sold at. Just a clause that says that for the first x number of season tickets Ticketus would get the money.

So the new buyer forms an official supporters club. They pay membership of say £400 per year to join the club That gives them the right to buy a season ticket for £10 for all games. Total would be the same as buying a season ticket normally.

Give Ticketus their money just on season ticket sales, namely £10 a shot. The new club keeps the membership fee.

Obviously the Blue Knights would not go down this route but anyone else bidding should.

Soooooo....... 'if' Ticketus OR HMRC say 'no' to a bidder, the bid is screwed? (as they would be both over 25% of the debt as creditors after todays non-ruling)

But if I am reading it right, Ticketus would have a veto on any other bidder as they now have over 25%?

They have a clause that gets them the first so many pay at the gate tickets if a minimum number of season ticket sales aren't reached.

Either way, Rangers are fucked.

Liquidation is now inevitable and the 'Gang of 10' can now push through voting reforms.

The Old Firm dominance is coming to an end!

nope.

any structural change must carry a 10 team majority, they would need one more club on their side.

11 clubs must authorise any structural amendment.

This is what the 10 team meeting was for.

the gers admin will meet a representative of the ten very soon in the hope of reaching a deal.

Continuing the theme, here's Ibrox in a few weeks time, perhaps as soon as Sunday night. Perhaps HB could confirm?

Awww no, that's one of my all time favourite paintings and I'll no be able to look at it without thinking of ibrox now, gutting. :(

When Rangers go into liquidation, the new entrant to the SPL will provide the 11th club.

Celtic are finished! 8)

you'll never be a sports journalist in Scotland thinking like that.

nope, that's not how it works either.

under spl / sfl agreement a team can only access the spl from the sfl through promotion and not replacement of a defunct club.

11 clubs would have to agree to 2 coming up to replace the 1 relegated and the 1 dead.

ie, a restructure from 11 to 12

No, it requires for there to be an opposition of just 1 vote - which will not equate to a ten team majority when Rangers die. 10-1 is valid.

In the midst of all this speculation it's important to stick with fact for some of the time. It is a fact that the BBC showed a clip of "We don't do walking away" on the programme this evening. It's a fvckin' classic and deserves a national prime time slot like that. Nearly fell aff the couch laughing!

So the merry-go- round continues. Braw.

I do wish that HMRC would come oot and say something ..Preferably along the lines of

" We aint cutting no deals with anyone"

That would have the admins rushing for the Imodium Plus..

Is there actually a list anywhere of all Rangers creditors yet?? I seem to remember previous admins where a full list of creditors was published

I am correct..

http://www.thecourie...-creditors.html

Come on Haudit an Daudit, get yer act together and gees some great weekend reading..

Even after a second go at admin I'm still vague over the ins and outs of getting out of it.

Going by the list of creditors Dundee had will Rangers players also have to agree to a CVA, and given their huge wages and contracts (?) would that not help Rangers get nearer the 75 % to push through a CVA and f**k over the HMRC ?

Or is that a load of crap?

Wthout ploughing through the whole thread is there anyone that could put into simple betting odds on the chance of liquidation, out of admin and in the SPL next year or any other possibilities?

the most important thing right now mate is that no one has a clue, only Duff and Phelps do

Many many things can alter the odds of liquidation or coming out of admin, no matter what all these resident financial experts will post the fact is they dont have a fucking clue about Rangers situation and are basing their theories on a textbook situation

Club ceasing to play and be a member of the League

H5 If any Club in the League ceases to operate or to be member of the League for any reason, its playing record in the League maybe expunged and the number of relegation places from the League shall be reduced accordingly.
