Happy Buddie
I'm sure there has been plenty of dinner conversations in swanky hotels. On expenses, charged to RIFC, as "essential business meetings", mibbe even some succulent lamb and rioja, well, if it worked once..........

BossHogg
McCoist just said, and I quote, "Our wages to turnover is the envy of any club in world football" He could have a point,,,, if he wasn't adding the share issue onto the turnover total.
Maxsta
Dont worry, I'll reply for you. I have done a quick Google Search using the words "King I Will Invest Rangers", these are the most relevant results: "The former director is pledging to invest heavily" however if you actually read the article it states "He wil LEAD a fresh round of fundraising" also "I would be delighted if the club could thrive without any investment from me" - I bet he would. Yet to see anything concrete, any figures, any business plan (other than Season Ticket Sales) which lo and behold is exactly the same as the current board at Sevco that he is criticising so much. Only difference is Wallace isnt a convicted criminal and part of the biggest court case in his home countries history. He's got the cash to put in and he wouldn't lose it if he ended up owning us. I agree he won't actually spend much at all to get us or even run us.
Maxsta
I'd imagine the major shareholders will be asking for a fortune to sell up. Something I don't believe King is will to do, otherwise he'd have done it long ago The major shareholders want out and will sell at the current price which is pretty low. He'd end up getting the club for under £10M and then end up getting all that back. I've just noticed everyone talking about Margarita selling up too so going to read up on that, maybe it's the start or what i was getting at.
Maxsta
What clear offer is this? They have a duty to the shareholders ... not Dave King. You're right my bad, there's no "clear offer" but i think there would be if we were going to the wall so to speak.
Maxsta
Oor Jackanory is an awfy one for the questions, not so keen on answering them thou... It's just rude, do people actually expect you to converse with them when speaking how they do?
Maxsta
Can they get more money from selling to King (that is if King even wants to buy) or more money from selling assets... My guess is that they'll go for the latter option, I think selling to King will be a quick exit with them, they've made plenty. I don't think they'd try and sell the assets, i'm also not sure how they'd go about it without us going into administration which i don't think is going to happen due to the legality of it all.
AberdeenBud
Has a club in administration ever been promoted before? They have won leagues with players they have admitted they cannot afford, it is financial doping/blatant cheating, and they most certainly have been obtaining a sporting advantage.
Maxsta
Funny how some rangers fans want Wallace out because he's a liar , yet Sally is ok , and he's probably the biggest liar in this whole saga, That's well funny mate.
AberdeenBud
“So although some of the money has gone on players’ wages, it is a very small fraction of where the money has gone. “It (the ratio) is maybe 27/ 28%. I think the lowest in the Championship last year was 53 or 54% so that would give you the indication that the players’ budget should be well within the overall turnover and is within the overall turnover. “So, I refute the players taking any stick at all on it, plus the fact that it wasn’t myself who offered the players the contracts.” ----------------------------------------------------- The Club acquired a number of players in Summer 2013 that, based on financial forecasts, it should have known that it could not afford. The first team squad has the second highest wage bill in Scottish football for a team currently playing in the third tier. The total player wage cost is well in excess of the level it should be primarily due to generous and poorly structured contracts that were awarded to some players when they joined the Club.
Maxsta
If (thank god I'm not) I was at bear at the moment, I'd be seriously considering the FC Rangers of Govan route as the best way forward. Either that or walking away. Is the 'history' really that important that it's worth funding the retirement package of an assortment of spivs and gangsters to preserve? I'm confident King will buy them out, not that i want them getting much money but in this lovely corporate world we live in anything we buy is getting a suit minted somewhere so wouldn't get hung up about it.
