ThirdrockfromtheSon
Hibs apparently the better side in the second half and looking the more likely to score the winner ...... the ref jumps to their rescue yet again.Hibs were indeed the better side in the second half. The sending off was a bit harsh, but I've seen sendings-off given for less. To be fair, it wasn't until about the 110th minute or so before the effect of having ten men caused Hibs to succumb to the winner. A poor clearance from an injured Hibs played led to a rather impressive goal by Law.

While it was a shocking decision but I'm inclined to give the benefit of the doubt and call it a mistake, if he was as bent as you suggest I think he'd have given them the penalty a few minutes later as well.
Bloomogganners
The game wasn't on the season ticket. No cup games are and the game was televised so i think both Rangers and Hibs would have done quite well out the game. Thanks for your concern though Thought they needed 20000 to break even? loonapick
£21 feck knows. £21 for a first round diddy cup match? The League Cup match at Raith on Saturday was a tenner, and that's a proper cup! Edited August 6, 2014 by loonapick
Ken Fitlike
Crowd of 18,000 against Hibs. Basically season tickets only then. Did they make money or lose it? nice pay day for Hibs with 50% of the gate receipts...... what's the chances of The Rangers getting another home draw in the next round as they seem to get in all their cup-ties?

Not really. After matchday expenses half of f**k all is f**k all. Post based on No8s figure of 20000 to break even.

Bloomogganners
Rangers International Football Club plc ("Rangers" the "Club" or the "Company") Possible Equity Issue Further to the announcement of 25 April 2014, the Board of Rangers announces that the Company is considering a possible equity issue in which all existing shareholders would be eligible to participate. Support is being sought from institutional investors to underwrite the possible equity issue. Discussions are ongoing and there can be no certainty of the outcome of these discussions. In line with the exemption to the European Union Prospectus Directive the possible equity issue would be for not more than an aggregate EUR5m and would avoid the costs of preparing a prospectus. The Company does not currently have shareholder authority to issue shares on a non pre-emptive basis and authority from shareholders to do so, which would allow placements of shares with institutional investors, will be sought at the Company's AGM later this year, in line with the Company's stated strategy. Further announcements will be made in due course. Monkey Tennis
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28678687 Excellent. It's happening again. Something tells me the team on display last night might struggle if docked 25 points.
