Bing (2)
It 'may' be a shop. That applies to the Record page and Ibrox
dave.j
Ashley paid £1 million upfront to take 49% of our merchandise profit for 7 years. If that is true and those are the figures i have seen published then that is fucking theft on a huge scale!![/quote What figures have been published? I don't get the renaming of a stadium to a sponsor. But I especially don't understand why Ashley would want his business associated with a toxic brand like The Rangers. Regardless of how much it cost him.
Umbungo1874
Why is it every time somebody steps up to the plate to help Sevco the knight in shining armour then is treated like a pariah by the Ibrox faithful ?

hellbhoy
How did this slip to the back of the mind for two years? Wouldn't it be listed in annual accounts, transactions or that mad hundred whatever review? Probably placed into the miscellaneous income section of no relevance somewhere in the accunts.
dave.j
Easdale is championing Ashley as the clubs potential saviour and has invited him to underwrite a £4m share issue needed to stave off financial collapse. In todays interview Easdale also confirms Ashley has been blocked from buying new shares as SFA rules prohibit him from owning more than 10 per cent of any Scottish club. Is underwriting not, agreeing to buy all unsold shares?

hellbhoy
Poundland Some on RM are getting it and not too happy about it. mitre_mouldmaster, on 03 September 2014 - 10:56 PM, said: We will always call it Ibrox no matter what. Unfortunately now all the other fans will be able to call it the SportsDirect.com Arena or Poundland.

My thoughts are the following and the timing could not be more appropriate given the upcoming (sham ) election. What are our thoughts on the following;: - all out boycott of Ibrox - barricade of easedale bus garages - barricade of all sports direct stores - barricades at Scottish parliament - barricades at polling booths on the election day It’s now or never.” Edited September 4, 2014 by AberdeenBud
