forehead7
It's a brave new world for discussing wrestling on the internet. Keep all TNA related news and rants in here.
Marshmallo
I quite enjoyed that Open Fight Night thing they did on Impact this week. Flair's line backstage "I haven't slept since I was 20 years old" was great. The "Gut check" guy was awful, hopefully he isn't ever seen again. Garrett Bischoff is the worst thing in wrestling today, even worse than Christopher Daniels!
Niall
Interestingly this week, Dixie Carter was quoted as saying Garret was at the same level as Crimson, Morgan and Gunner. Says a lot about her perception of the business.
RB-Scotland
Hogan's idea to save TNA...... At today's Impact tapings, the word about the "new concept" that Hulk Hogan was been saying would "change the business" and be "momentum-shifting" is something where TNA will be calling on their fans to film TNA wrestlers whenever they may encounter them, in or out of the ring. It almost sounds like a TMZ-style "paparazzi" thing, with people trying to film the every move of the TNA wrestlers. Early reports are that the idea isn't going over very well with the TNA locker room, with one person pointing out that Hogan is perhaps the last person who should promote something like this with the way his own personal videos are coming back to haunt him these days.

I used to love it when his hair looked like it'd had exploded after each match. Bets on how long the promise to defend the TV title each week will last this time?

Not sure how true it is but Steiner has said on Twitter that Bischoff is doing everything in an attempt to cut costs, to the point that they don't even fly Tenay or Tazz in for tapings, they just do a voiceover in Nashville now

DA Baracus
I actually quite like the Open Fight Night concept and that the TV title should be defended on TV (what a concept!) every week! What I don't like is that Hogan has utterly hogged the limelight in the latest Impact episode. Did we really need all the backstage pish with Hogan talking crap and the wrestlers just standing there like fannies? Yet again it's Hogan stealing the attention. What a w****r. Garrett Bischoff is, as said, the worst thing in wreslting. He's so incredibly awful. He looks like a greasy wee f**k, his sideburns make him look like a sex offender, his 'Bischoff' tattoo is breathtakingly shit and from what I've seen of him in the ring, he can barely wrestle, despite the commentators shitting themselves in shock that he cna perform the most basic of wrestling moves, the armdrag. And piping in cheers when he comes out is a failure beyond words. It's been well documented that Dixie Carter is clueless when it comes to wrestling. As you'll recall her reaction to the 'Fire Russo' chants was to have that stunningly bad televised meeting thing and in private to threaten to fire someone else, but not Russo, if the chants continued. Also have they pretty much given up on the X Divison now? Aries need to drop the belt and move up to challenge for the World Title. He's easily the best guy in TNA. Also, it's been said before, but they have to get out of the Impact Zone. It's unspeakably bad.
Slacker
And piping in cheers when he comes out is a failure beyond words. This does my tits in. Especially when WWE do it on SmackDown! playing the boos when Daniel Bryan comes out when you can see the fans are absolutely loving it.
TAFKAC
I dislike Garrett as much as the next person but I think I may dislike Anderson even more. Horrible wrestler, out of shape, and just generally tedious to watch. Considering how highly thought of he was for a wee while it is crazy how far he has fallen.

Horrible wrestler, out of shape, and just generally tedious to watch. Considering how highly thought of he was for a wee while it is crazy how far he has fallen. Anderson is dire now. Pretty much agree with all your points about him. He's been in awful shape for years now, hence why he wears that vest. In recent times he seems to developing quite a gut. His attempts at comedy are just awful and he just doesn't seem to have any good points at the moment.
A-Mac
They just don't get it, Hogan & Flair shouldn't be on TV.
Marshmallo
Both should definitely be on TV, just not on TV as often as Hogan is just now. Use them sparingly. Both are still charismatic as anyone else and can be used to good effect. I was always sceptical about the moaning of young guys being held down, but I was watching the Foley-Flair concussion promo segment again yesterday (where Flair says "If I die it'll be here or on top of a wild woman"). With Foley there is Matt Morgan, who talks briefly before Foley comes out. With Flair, there was Bischoff, Abyss, AJ, Rob Terry, Beer Money, Kazarian and Jeff Jarrett. The only one other than Flair who gets on the mic is Bischoff. It's got to be even worse now than it was then, apart from Beer Money getting pushed to the top of the card. AJ has been completely shat on over the last couple of years.
RB-Scotland
Outstanding article about Hogan's history of lying. http://franticplanet.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/the-mad-lies-of-hulk-hogan/ If you haven't already, I'd recommend listening to the 'Hulkster in Heaven' song it references. A tribute to a wee lad who's died of cancer, and he spends most of it singing about himself.

DA Baracus
Andre The Giant passed on two days after Hogan bodyslammed him at Mania! Brilliant stuff.

AJ has been completely shat on over the last couple of years. Yeah, Flair is still great. I'd love for him to become AJ's manager again. Can't help but agree. Morgan and Terry are shit. Abyss is alright but not nearly mobile enough to be a main eventer. But AJ, Beer Money and Kazarian are all top guys. Beer Money have had it good and Kaz is probably at his peak as he's not nearly charismatic enough to be a main eventer. But yeah, AJ's been booked horrendously recently. He is or should be the face of their company and he's been stuck in a feud with Daniels for months, they had the match at Destination X in July and then that went on for a couple of months, he took a brief time out to feud with Roode for the title at Turning Point and then the next week he was back in the Daniels feud with Kaz involved now. So it's been like 10 out of the last 11 months he's been involved in a feud with Daniels, no one deserves that.
forehead7
The one that aired on Thursday was pretty good. Some spoilers Flair opened by calling Hogan out and he was hilarious in the segment. He accepted the position of Gut Check judge. Jeremy Borash was talking and saying how Bischoff was a p***k and demeaned people and Bully Ray interrupted him and dragged him down to the ring. It was really entertaining, Ray was such an asshole, tremendous work. Aries came down and cut a great promo on him as well. There was a segment with Al Snow, Flair and Bruce Pritchard discussing the gut check guy and Flair was great in that. Later on they were in the ring with the guy and decided him future. Flair was again, amazing. They decided to give the guy 30 seconds to convince them, and he started off shit and Flair took the mic back and said "don't talk to the marks, talk to us". Magnus, Joe and AJ had a decent match with Angle, Daniels and Kaz. Angle was about to make AJ tap when Daniels and Kaz tried to steal the glory and it backfired, Style pinned Kaz. Angle looked like he was gonna f**k them up for it Daniels was obviously squirming and Angle said something like "shut your fucking mouth" No Garrett Bischoff didn't tag the second Edited May 7, 2012 by forehead7

Hope he annihilates Daniels. Does anyone like that c**t? What do you reckon Daniels and Kazarian have on AJ? And I thought Daniels was blackmailing Kazarian to be a heel, but now Kazarian is just a heel. They never explained that one. Didn't see all of it, so to hear that there was no Garrett Bischoff is good news indeed.
