Bad year after paying Championship wages in League one, quite possibly but I don't think it's collection buckets outside East End. Suppose we'll wait and see. I wonder if they purely knocked back the Edwards move because 1) he's an important player 2) we might be able to get a bit more in the summer if he does well between now and then. A large amount has been spent no doubt on some unexpected once in a lifetime situations such as the injuries and recuperation costs, managers being sacked, increased wage bill to cover injuries. Added to that, a small matter of everything costing a shit load more. Football clubs are not exempt from the same inflation that's dominantated the news for that last 18 months. I removed my post as I don't feel it's helpful, but I'm genuinely wanting the figures published so we can all see for ourselves. My concern is financial prudence returning a small profit each season pre Gmbh Fussball. Now it's potentially a club with a lot more debt, albeit covered by the Board.
