HoBNob
We have a new director https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC011580/filing-history Mr Ian Ross Laing from Lombardi associates. https://lombardi-football.com/about/ Can't say I've heard of them before, but on there website it says this about him. "recent work has involved advising both clubs and investors on investment into football clubs and advising start ups looking to enter the football space" I don't think he can play centre mid.

Interesting that the first listed role for clubs is conflict resolution. Maybe doesn’t mean too much but there’s rumours of board disharmony and we’re clearly not in a happy place overall. I don’t know what this guy will do, but I think it’s best for things like a new director to be announced via a press release rather than someone going into companies house

That’s a handy tool to have on your board of directors. To me the conflict part seems more like the kind of thing you’d need to settle transfer fees and negotiations, and doesn’t necessarily mean it’s needed to sort out conflicts within our own boardroom. A guy/company like this fits in with the future vision our German overlords said they were planning for our club.
parsforlife
I also note that if we were engaging this company on a consultancy basis there would be no need for them to join as directors, someone on .net has said he’s a local lad so there perhaps he’s doing this as a personal venture.
par-adise
The Ashcroft volley was the best Pars goal I've ever seen in person. Hard to believe he'd be able to replicate it but I don't care, get him signed up and just lob balls to him at the edge of the box.

Just maybe hiring an endless procession of professionals is their answer to resolving issues surrounding everyday management of stuff at the club. They did say they were going to professionalise the running of the club. Done right that's a positive. They brought in the chap Burns as Commercial Manager. He's a former Director at Viking Cruises, probably here to maximise commercial opportunities. I'm sure he's doing that, but for me, the only visible income earner I've seen is the 7 Kings advert now covering half the Legends Wall between the main stand and the Norrie. That kicked up a stink at the time, then the club issued a statement but there been no change, former players are still covered by a huge QR code for a shit pub. That pissed me off given it reeked of piss poor decision making. I worry corporate shit is overruling the fundamental reasons for being involved in a football club like ours, which is love for the club itself. Anyway, COYP Edited February 17 by North West Poor spelluing
DA Baracus
What shit do the board need to do? If we were winning lots of games and doing well on the pitch, what would you be saying about the board? Also have you missed the various events and sponsorship the club have now? Here's a couple of examples: https://dafc.co.uk/carabao-sport/ https://dafc.co.uk/ultimate-rave-bingo-friday-23rd-february/ https://dafc.co.uk/sportsmans-dinner-2024/

Last 3 home games in a row have resulted in one point, one goal scored and 9 conceded. It’s not good enough, and we should demand better. You're going down if you don't make some sort of changes and chris kane for all his work rate is unlikely to be the saviour you need.

I think it's difficult to sack the manager when he's not had a fit squad at any point this season tbh. Meant to have the majority of the team back over the next few weeks, bar Wighton and Fisher. I think it's at that point they have a decision to make.
Well over Par
We are in trouble on the pitch and off. Who is this new director ? More money out the pot. In reply to the patrons thing most of the patrons there were very senior pars fans with respect not financially savvy. Just want to have a team to support
