Paralytic
We really need to get 2/3 players in that have experience in this league.

I'm sure by this stage last season we were speculating when he'd return, likelihood was around about Halloween. Same this season then... Let's hope for Matty and everyone connected to the football club he has good spell when he's back. A fully fit Matty Todd is vital for us.

I heard we were linked back when he first left Thistle but that was months ago. It would make sense but the club don't do things that make sense. A local boy, good playoff exposure with you guys and Thistle, plus won the division with Killie. Too early to predict where everyone will finish but even though things are not going in our favour just now, we should still be realistically thinking promotion playoffs are our aim. Alston would be solid experience for that.

The owners have a wage structure in place dependent on experience. Alston would have to get paid the same as Wotherspoon or Kane based on his current experience. It doesn't matter how good a player they are. Policy from a board that has lived in the corporate world rather than the football world.
Well over Par
Alston was training with us but told we couldn’t afford him. Amazing as his agent hadn’t even told the club what he’d be wanting
Heaton
For all we know he didn't fit the fair play mantra the board are following. But you're right. It was more likey a case of knowing he'd be a senior player therefore sit in that salary band.
Rob1885
A fucking joke tbh.
Nat Weederburn
What's happened with Kerr McInroy? No way the club would actually go after him because it makes too much sense, but just interested.

No idea why we haven't went for it.
DA Baracus
Would he want to come back?
Parscelona
Pretty sure his grandad is a Pars fan or there was something about his family being supporters, so there's a connection there. He's an absolute no brainer of a signing though, we badly need (amongst other positions) a central midfielder.
DA Baracus
I agree, but McPake might not.

It's a range for each "tier" not a set amount FFS.

Yes I do. I wasn't taking about the same amount to the penny, but the range will not be huge, meaning they will be on similar money...FFS

You have also said that the players ability has nothing to do with their wages which has never been said by any club with a strict wage structure, let alone ours. Why get your knickers in a twist about something you've basically made up?
