Todd, Comrie and McCann all been excellent. Wighton took his goal really well - seems to be playing a false 9 role, with Todd and McCann running beyond him, which is working. Hes playing against one of the laziest wingers in the country and a left back whos barely played since breaking his leg about 18 months ago, so its hard to be impressed. Strange half, where we were in total control for about 25 mins and have barely kicked a ball since. Your wingers (11 & 14) look like good players, who are causing problems. Stevie May’s clearly still a very good player and has been dropping deeper to get more involved during your dominant spell. 25 and Crawford been good in the middle. For us, Todd’s obviously so crucial to everything we do going forward. McCann been having a good game and Wighton has had his moments. Comrie’s done nothing since I praised him (typical!). Its a threadbare, young, squad Only one sub has any senior games for us, and he missed most, if not all i cant remember, of last season. Goalkeeper has only played twice above League One. LCB hasnt played above League Two. Starting RB is a CM whos never played above League Two. Sub who came on has never played above League Two. We're down about 5 senior players, one is Max Kucheriavyi whos never played above League One. 101 Posted July 4, 2023 Share Posted July 4, 2023 Really enjoyable 20 minutes, Saints came into it after they scored a glorious goal. Not sure what to make of Otoo in CM obviously not his natural or half natural position but looks strong and athletic if a little error prone, still not sure I would have taken Hamilton out of CDM to replace Fisher.
