The story, while sounding bizzare as f**k, is also entirely plausible, there are a few people who have backed up the claims that there is indeed a homeless wifey in the Grassmarket area of Dunfermline with a ferret and dog, it might not be in the dogs mouth, but it's pretty reasonable to say that it is there. Going by the picture Thomson is pretty bladdered, and I can say hand on heart if I was walking through Edinburgh, pished. I'd get a picture of me with the dog/ferret, probably humping one or the other. Shouldn't they have done this in the first place? All joking about his fighting capabilities aside, I would think payment of the bloke's taxi repairs, a hefty fine and a serious warning about his future conduct would be suitable punishment. Not excusing his behaviour for one minute and, although he should know better, he is a young boy and we all know how alcohol can evoke overreactions. On an unrelated note, which again doesn't excuse it, he's been horrendously unlucky that someone has been recording it on the other side of the road. Had it not reached the internet, I very much doubt we would have heard anything about it. Aye true even royalty haven't sussed that everyone and their granny has a smart phone and wants their moment of fame on Youtube or a pile of dosh for cashing in on some eejit's stupidity. But that is what it is plain dumb idiotic behaviour and Jeffries needs to make it plain it isn't good enough. Either get shot of them or fine them hard and let them sit out games for several weeks. All my work mates are ripping the cr*p out of me and rightly so. The ferret fiasco is getting called Ferretgate (originality isn't on their list of virtues the t*ssers). It's very embarassing.
