Think the new version of NXT is settling nicely into its stride of having a mix of experience and new faces. They're not all going to work, but it's a perfect test bed to see who will. For all we know they took her in and gave her the options and she told them to piss off. Their policy on the adult stuff is pretty clear, but when you're happy to keep employing repeated drunk drivers, it probably isn't a good look. Although weirdly drink driving doesn't seem to be taken anywhere near as seriously as it is here. Isn't it just a slap on the wrists in a lot of cases for being absolutely blootered, when you'd almost certainly lose your license for having a couple here?
