Sweet Pete
This would actually be pretty funny. I wonder what everyone would talk about. Like work nights out, no matter how much you try not to talk about work you always end up talking about it. You seem to be forgetting that quite a few of the P&B regular posters already know each other and socialise together. In fact, your post of reeks of jealousy IMO.
Sweet Pete
Why would I be jealous? I wasn't even taking the piss either, it was just a thought. No need to be so defensive. ^^^^^ so jealous he's adopted a submissive position in the hope of an invite.

Like work nights out, no matter how much you try not to talk about work you always end up talking about it. SF does actually have a point. I know that when I attended the one and only Golf Day, the conversation did eventually turn to the forum, but generally folk find other things to blether about. It was slightly bizarre turning up and sidling up to another slightly lost looking guy and saying "Here mate, are you off the internet?"

You should all get a wee lapel badge with a pie or a bovril on it. I'm sure there's a place in the Savoy Centre which could do them?

Isn't that what Megan Stammers did to "18 year old" Jeremy Forrest 2 weeks ago?

South Lanarkshire Jag
Tempted to do this as my last full weekend in the UK Never done it before, so what are the pub's at each stop?
cyderspaceman
I don't suppose they have finished the subway extension to Poitiers yet? I worked in the Doublet sometime during the last century and can remember many subway crawlers heading off and coming back pished. Quel surprise. It may be advisable to miss out one or two stops and double up on the next ones.

H Wragg
Is there somewhere in the City where a stab vest may be purchased? I wouldnt fancy it but to avoid going there you'll be just about walking back to Cessnock to get to the next pub.

That's what I was thinking, but obviously 'hammed up' my reply. I could relive my formative years and stand outside while someone sends out a coke and a bag of crisps.
The OP
Tempted to do this as my last full weekend in the UK Never done it before, so what are the pub's at each stop? I've never been on one but I'd imagine Bridge Street - I'd go for the Laurieston but The Glaswegian is a smidgin closer I think St. Enoch - Times Square probably best bet Buchanan St - Various, probably Waxy's if you come out at Queen St or The Gallery if you come out at Buchanan St. Although it occurs to me that I'm not sure if The Gallery is still there. Cowcaddens - Jackson's Doghouse George's Cross - Captain's Rest Kelvinbridge - The Doublet Hillhead - Various Kelvinhall - The Dolphin Partick - Not sure Dunno the soof side very well, which is where the more 'interesting' pubs are likely to be. Thankfully I'll be out of the city whilst this is taking place, as I live within stone throwing distance of a subway station. DomDom
I might be back on for this after having to cancel a holiday for this weekend, giving me a wee spare weekend to use next week if there's any openings. Further updates tomorrow!
