Lets All Laugh At Rangers Thread

Recommended Posts

as opposed to a re-post............

Long story short.

I split up with my partner recently and moved out into a B&B as my own house is rented out at the moment, so right now i'm searching for a short term house to rent until i can get my own back.   Should have something sorted out this week hopefully.

Annway was in the lounge watching telly last nigh, on a few websites courtesy of the free wifi and was asked what website this was and we had a chat about it. End result was a new member.

Now if any normal person had noticed the IP issue they would have sent a PM asking for an explanation but no not Keith. He had to do his 'hardman thing' and try to be a 'big' man. A little common sense and courtesy appears to be lost on him.

Keith has two choices here, he either admits he's f**ked it up (somethin he should be used to by now) or he bans me for 'using another account' which is against board rules afterall.

Cracking statement from club 1872 (should be 2012)

Representatives from Club 1872 met with Police Scotland yesterday to discuss issues relative to the forthcoming Hogmanay Rangers v Celtic game at Ibrox. It afforded us the opportunity to raise concerns in respect of the previous league encounter earlier in the season at Parkhead, and in particular the hanging of effigies of Rangers supporters in mock style executions, which alarmingly, even several hours later and despite images of this offensive conduct being circulated to widespread condemnation both inside and outside Scotland, Police Scotland had failed to take any action relative thereto, suggesting no complaint had been forthcoming. Furthermore the importance of respecting the  minute silence associated with this fixture was emphatically emphasised to Police Scotland.

Police Scotland have assured us a robust, even handed Policing model will be in operation on the 31st, with particular emphasis on intelligence led searches of supporter’s buses, zero tolerance of sectarian and alcohol related offences, with every likelihood that persons arrested will remain in custody for the next lawful court date in 2017. Where necessary retrospective investigation will be undertaken using CCTV. We at Club 1872 would expect such zero tolerance to be extended to banners or flags containing words such as “Kill All ****”, “*** Scum” or other similar unedifying and unacceptable messages directed at Rangers supporters.

Police Scotland are now fully aware of the residual anger amongst our support and the growing movement amongst our members to further restrict the number of tickets allocated to the away support in respect of this fixture as a consequence of events at Parkhead earlier this season.

A key function of Club 1872 is to represent, protect and defend the interests of our members and the wider Rangers fan base and in that regard let no one be in any doubt we will pursue those aims without fear or compromise.

"Emphatically emphasised" & "residual anger"

At least they're not bothered.

Are they saying they want their own fans banned for smashing up the toilets :unsure2:

How about banning their own fans and only letting the opposition fans in?  At least then they could be 100% certain that it was 'them' that had caused any trouble.

.

Further restrict? Have restrictions already been put in place on away ticket sales and how does the allocation compare, to previous games at Ibrox?

What influence do Club 1872 have over the decision making process within rangers? What relevance is there in letting the police know how they plan on going about restricting celtic fans ability to get tickets?

When Celtic inevitably overtake the 54* titles, will they be arrogantly claiming to be the World's Second Most Successful Club?

* The EBT titles, of course, should have been officially declared void.

'Dull Ken' I know... keeps banging on about the same old facts about what actually happened, instead of mealy-mouthing about 'financial problems' causing Rangers to be 'punished' and 'relegated'

That's fucking brilliant

Hopefully Celtic absolutely bitch-slap them on their own ground. The tears will be fantastic.
