(a wee clue - have a look at the mentions of "timelines" earlier this morning). You'll notice that Mr Stewart was appointed as liquidator. In a similar fashion, BDO were appointed liquidators of rangers. They're still, as far as I'm aware, carrying out that duty nearly two years later. If someone comes along with a shitload of money, they could conceivably take rangers out of that process. they can take the company out of liquidation. The club is owned by someone else apparently. What Ted is very clearly, and pretty convincingly, doing is pointing out the inconsistency of claiming Hearts go back to the 1870s, but Rangers don't on the basis of liquidation. He's not saying Hearts are new; he's saying the opposite. Seriously, what's going on here?
