BLADES MAN
Don't watch it then? Bugger, I wish I had thought of that. Thanks for your input.
Shuggie_Murray7
Didn't think it was as funny as last week. The bit with the guy grabbing everyones tits was shite. The "Whits your hing?", Larry Forsyth buts were excellent. I also laughed like f**k at the bit where he found the wee door on the ground for some reason. The rest was decent.
DAFC
Larry Forsyth sketch was excellent. Your wife is a floosie! Don't you Larry me!
SodjesSixteenIncher
I'm quite enjoying it so far. Pissed myself at "now he gets it". The cast from the last two years is immensely better than the pish had in the first series. The slightly older guy is excellent at the deadpan stuff. His reaction the "cock out" suggestion was absolutely superb Edited November 20, 2012 by SodjesSixteenIncher
gary_411
Burst out laughing in the library at the paracetamol one, the rest of it was solid except from the tit-grabbing one. Didn't quite get that. Classic stuff again though, 'Everything's Shit!'
Smurph
I also laughed like f**k at the bit where he found the wee door on the ground for some reason. I liked that the most. Saw it coming a mile off but was strangely satisfied when he did it. I know the "what's your 'hing" guy in the cinema. I wasn't a big fan of Limmy's Show but I'm getting into it a bit more. It's really hot and cold. Some sketches are class but other ones are heavy shite.
roverthemoon
Larry Forsyth sketch was excellent. Your wife is a floosie! Don't you Larry me! This sketch was magnificent. The way he kicks out at him to try and provoke him was brilliant.
roverthemoon
Would agree about the cast. The older guy's facial expressions and deadpan stuff is superb. His face in he sketch last week where he was drawing on the napkin was superb. The younger guy and the woman are also pretty natural. The last cast were a bit too comedy actors pulling daft faces for my liking. The other thing that gets over looked is how good a comedy actor Limmy himself is. His timing and facial expressions are superb. The bit where he was in the chemist asking for two packets of paracetamol and laughing nervously was magnificent

The last cast were a bit too comedy actors pulling daft faces for my liking. Totally agree, the older guy in particular is excellent. I think a lot of the ok sketches from the first series would have been really good with this cast. The one where they find out Limmy's bird is an old man comes to mind.

dane-don
Never liked the Larry Forsyth sketches in the last series, but this one was brilliant. At this point in the experiment, I had to be subdued.
The Naitch
Really enjoyed this week's episode. Larry Forsyth and Party Chat were the highlights.
Guest
I was worried the series would be pish after the first episode, but that one was brilliant. Probably the most consistent episode he's done, I laughed at pretty much all of it. I was talking to a mate in the pub and laughing at all the sketches, we both loved party chat, "whits your thing", Raymond Day, the sketch with the old guy saying "you've played right into his hands there" and the wee door on the ground one. There was another sketch I remember pissing myself at, but I couldn't remember what it was: Thanks PnB.

Ric
I just don't get it. His comedy is massively derivative and what isn't can only be called comedy in loose terms. He is also extremely annoying, imo. Fair play, he's making money out of it, but I just don't understand how this was commissioned for one series let alone others.

You gave him exactly what he wanted, you played right into his hands
Ric
Probably because a lot of people like it and find it funny. It's the fact that people find it funny that I find most confusing. Granted the only people I know who like it are on this board, but that said it has to appeal to a certain demographic. Well he got a reaction out of you, you've got to give him that. You gave him exactly what he wanted, you played right into his hands Not really, I see him I switch off, that's not playing into the hands of anyone other than the other channel I switch to. I'm not slating Limmy here, btw, if people find him funny they find him funny, I just can't see why.
