As pointed out previously we wore our home kit @ Stenhousemuir back in September. No colour clash. As for Stranraer turning up with black shorts last week, rangers and celtic both wore white shorts yesterday. Man City and Southampton both wore black shorts today. Utter bollocks argument & an amateurish minter from us being unable to wear the right kit. #FindOurHomeKit

I believe you are correct. I was told yesterday by a reasonably reliable source that the ref wasn't happy with a clash in the shorts. Ours have a white stripe down the side and the ref deemed that to clash with the Stenny shorts. My point was, why didn't we just swap our shorts and wear the black Stenny shorts with our own top and socks...

He's not the only person connected with the club who's been acting like an absolute bitch since Aitken got the boot. The sooner we rid ourselves of the Aitken arse lickers the better IMO. I'm not sure what he means by "Findlay has had his say". The message on the OS couldn't be nicer. I'm looking forward to seeing what his say is.

Jan Vojáček
Colm is fair ramping things up with some very strong language. A real shame that he couldn’t have sorted out whatever issue he has privately. Having a tantrum online isn’t a good look for anyone, especially when he’s saying that he’ll be getting “rid of these wankers”. If that’s how he feels about the players, management team, board or fans then I think it’s best for everyone that both parties make a fresh start in 2019.
Silverton End
"Commercial Director" 6 seasons in The Championship v Rangers, Hibs, Hearts, Dundee United, Dundee, Partick Thistle etc - A sum total of half a dozen advertisement hoardings mustered behind the goals in our Stadium. "Commercial Director" 6 seasons in The Championship with 600 - 700 home fans & we never had a Club Shop to speak of. "Commercial Director" Sponsor a game/match ball costing a pretty penny & you have to ASK for the match ball you sponsored/paid for - great PR "Commercial Director" Recent 'Festive Season' Hospitality v Stranraer was sold at "buy 1 get 1 free" without telling our caterer "Commercial Director " Absolutely no need to do this as virtually every 'Festive Season' hospitality package sells out at cost price anyway. Costing our club & caterer £1000's "Commercial Director" Excellent caterer now leaving You could not fucking make it up. Howlin' Wilf
Obviously Colm feels strongly but it never comes over well when the name calling starts. There is more personal stuff on there now about the Sonstrust director. The club appears not to be in a great place.

On the catering, I know that Robert Sloan, who is indeed an excellent caterer, semi retired a couple of years ago and a new caterer started at the Rock. My understanding was that Robert went back on an interim basis when the new guy didn’t work out. I know all the guys who have tried it over time (Robert Mills, Joe Milan and Robert Sloan) and they all say the one thing - that it’s difficult to make a decent profit from the DFC catering operation. As for hospitality selling out at the festive season, I’d be very surprised indeed if that were the case.

Volunteer your services if you think you could improve things on the commercial side. Seriously. The club needs all the help it can get, so if you could get a few extra sponsorship boards, restructure hospitality or buy stock that sells more effectively, offer to help out. Without volunteers we’d be pretty sunk.Back on Colm, he’s lost any moral high ground by name calling publicly. If he has such an issue with Findlay then he should take it to him face-to-face - not plaster it online a day after his final game. Seems strange he stayed this long if things have been so awful, or maybe he’s just upset because he buys into Aitken’s hard luck story.

Costing our club & caterer £1000's "Commercial Director" Excellent caterer now leaving You could not fucking make it up. You're actually complaining about the club giving fans a DISCOUNTED HOSPITALITY PACKAGE and we didn't tell the caterer? Nonsense. Why do we need a club shop when we'd make more money collectively returning our gingey bottles to a shop? Perhaps if you had the info the Commercial Director had on that you'd realise why the club shop was virtually non-existant - Sons fans don't really buy anything, f**k, we couldn't even persuade 300 to buy a season ticket. Now we have a club shop with loads of stock, bath robes, cup final polo shirts, a whole host of shite that folk complained we didn't have and now it just sits there as wasted stock. Great money maker for the club right enough. As for the other stuff, it just shows a real lack of understanding. Our Commercial Director does a shitload of work, all off his own back and in his own time around his job and family life, I've seen how draining his work load is first hand. If it was me doing that workload and I came on here to read this I would genuinely just give up. If that's what you want then cool, continue making up complete nonsense about him but be prepared to step into his shoes if he does, then you can prove how easy it is to sell advertising and hospitality down there, at the same time as looking for stadium sponsors, shirt sponsors, sell the function suite for private functions, organise fundraisers, organising repairs, and then try and go home and enjoy your actual life with your family.
