Howlin' Wilf
What's the Manny Panther situation? We are apparently ready to pounce....
Sweet Pete
f**k you Pete! We have nothing else to discuss, ok! Square go! It beats revising for an exam on Fractal Geometry! I'll give you fractured geometry. What's the Manny Panther situation? He's signing this week.
Howlin' Wilf
[quote name="The Moonster" post="8443708" I find it a bit baffling that you can confidently say that Robinson won't be an improvement. Just an opinion based on having seen him play and comparing.
The Elephant In The Rock
Joe Mbu has left East Fife. Worth a punt?
The Moonster
Are we just taking a punt on anyone who's been released now? Mbu's done, at this level anyway.
johnny graham
Talking of goalkeepers. Are there no eastern European goalkeeping doctors around these days. As long as there are no relatives of Willie whigham skulking around anywhere.

Jan Vojáček
Joe Mbu has left East Fife. Worth a punt? No, no and....no again. Talking of goalkeepers. Are there no eastern European goalkeeping doctors around these days. As long as there are no relatives of Willie whigham skulking around anywhere. Dr Jan I've got his gloves from the last game of the 09/10 season
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Think folk are forgetting what sort of a level we're now competing at. Guys like Joe Mbu and Davie Crawford would be alright if we were looking to fight for a 3rd division play off place. We should be looking up the way for players not picking up the shite that's been released by East Fife and Stirling Albion. Players like Megginson and McGinn should our targets. Hungry and looking to impress for the opportunity at a full time gig.

Hungry and looking to impress for the opportunity at a full time gig. Exactly. Loans from Premiership teams and the best part time players in the country are who we will be looking at, not dross like Joe Who and Crawford. Let's not lose sight of where we are now.
Howlin' Wilf
26 league matches? There were 39! Each team played 3 times with home advantage being the luck of the draw. Maybe 26 that one season?
lionel wickson
Maybe 26 that one season? Pretty sure it was 26. League finished quite early I think. Iirc we played Albion Rovers in the Spring Cup in the midweek after we had dumped Killie out of the Scottish Cup Quarter Final. Didn't we play Stenny at Ochilview (and lose) just prior to the Semi Final v Hearts?

Indeed we did, thanks mainly to an abysmal refereeing performance by RD Keggie of Edinburgh
Darren1872
Whats the chances of getting Celtic youngster Leo Fasan on loan? Was a star in the under 20 league for Celtic.
rockson
Maybe 26 that one season? Yea. They introduced the play each other three times thing the season after because the Spring Cup had been less than a resounding success.
BallochSonsFan
Any one of Ewings, Davie Crawford, Grindlay, Flynn, Robinson, Lumsden, Jan Vojacek, Sweet Pete or Joe Mbu. Blobby Mann's goal from the half way line against Dr Jan still gives me nightmares.
