Sons' sorrow

Recommended Posts

I'd have chucked him for being in the Oban Loyal Rangers Supporters Club if I'm honest.

It's a strange one, he gets handed a new professional deal and a few months later vanishes without a peep from the os.

Mind his maw used to post on here?

So you'd ditch every Sons player who had an Old Firm allegiance then??

That's just daft. If we didn't sign players with a Rangers/Celtic allegiance, we'd not have many players!

Seems the simple presence of the name 'Hosie' wasn't an infallible guarantee in the case of this business.

Interesting. Fingers in many pies and all that.

Bet Butler had been toiling for a while, punters no getting paid winnings etc.

What'll our Stadium be called now then? Wonder how much Sons got for naming rights of the ground anyway.

Indeed, one woman even had this to say...

“It was right way back in 2006 when it all went belly up and I said these people are not fit to hold any title in any business of any kind,”

We're coming up to an important hurdle in our plans to move to our new stadium. An adverse decision regarding the rezoning of the Youngs land would kill the stadium plan stone dead.

Any news on potential local opposition? Or are we expecting an easy time of it with the Scottish Executive?
