I reckon Grindlay was told he would be 2nd maybe 3rd choice - depending on who was available to bring in - and this is why he took so long to sign. He may have been waiting to see if anything else which he liked the look of came up. airdrieman Posted July 16, 2014 Share Posted July 16, 2014 Rogers did alright in his short loan spell at Airdrie. Solid keeper and didn't make any mistakes. Testimonials can't be organised by the club (well they could, but the money would be taxable) so an external committee has to approach the club to propose organising a testimonial for Stephen. On checking wikipedia he first joined us in 2001, left in 2007 and came back in 2010 so I guess this will be a tenth season for him.
