Oscar Wilder
Chvrches have now had three albums and they all sound exactly the same. They're becoming a bit boring to be honest. Same said about the Beatles, Ramones and Oasis!! [emoji848]
Savage Henry
Same said about the Beatles, Ramones and Oasis!! [emoji848] One of these bands seems a touch out of place.
Oscar Wilder
One of these bands seems a touch out of place. I've a varied taste in music! [emoji4] Loved all these bands, and really like Chvrches too!

Chvrches aren't one of them.
Guest Pampered Adolescent
I caught Chvrches at Clockenflaps, Hong Kong, in 2014, and the girl's vocals were for myself, terribly screechy. Nor do I blame it on the sound quality which was, for other acts, and ones that I know well, e.g. Mogwai, superb. Really did spoil what otherwise was an energetic performance. At risk at taking this thread off-topic, Clockenflaps is an amazing festival, set on the old glide-path to former Kai Tak airport, in Kowloon, near to the famous Canton Railway clock. Hence the name. By far my favourite festival backdrop, though the old Hamilton Mausoleum at TITP 1995 was pretty decent..... Cheers PA

RiG
Depending on ticket prices I'll likely try and head along.
Rovers2017
Got tickets for the Hydro gig.
Richie95
Managed to get tickets as well for the Hydro gig. £27.50 plus the service charge, didn't seem to bad for good seated tickets.
Ex Machina
Never really listened to them but they were immense at Citadel on Sunday except that one song that the guy sung (I think it was called Under The Tide?). He was w**k.

RiG
Anyone see them on Sunday night in Edinburgh? Thought that they were pretty decent despite the pissing rain.
RiG
New single came out a few days ago. Quite like the video not 100% sold on the song but maybe after a few listens...

Ira Gaines
I'm not sold on the song either but I wasn't sold on a couple of singles on the last one either so not bothered. And it isn't exactly bad.
