Bully Wee Villa
Well, I'll certainly be hoping he does very badly if he's signing for those c***s.

Brummie Clyde
I like Cam Newton, but can't help hoping he has an injury and can't play for them now

Good luck to him, though.
Fife Saint
He used to be great to watch, it all fizzled out with that injury though. Interesting to see if they change the scheme or if the scheme will change for him.

You ideally don't want Newton throwing the ball 40 times a game, so they'll likely be running the ball a lot (especially with their running backs and what they just drafted). But he's a great chance to take at only $7 million max.

Obviously meant will they change the scheme or he will change for the scheme.
The Golden God
So the NFL team that represent Washington are probably going to have a new name soon and there’s lots of right wing folk absolutely fucking seething about it.
Brummie Clyde
Yeah, they're bound to chafe their name now it can impact them financially Washington Honkies has a nice ring to it....
die hard doonhamer
They've been told that if they want to build on the site of the old RFK stadium they need to change the name. Congress won't approve it without that change.

Mr. Brightside
I seen a cool suggestion to change their name to the Washington Redtails.
Antiochas III
My bet will be Braves, the original name of the Franchise. About time but I can see Snyder holding onto the name as a copyright though to stop the casino that started the campaign being named Redskins Bad news for everyone who hates seeing the NFC East on the telly every week, as this will see the NFL's most prestigious division dominate Prime Time again. Sydney Carton
I like it but I can see some folk objecting to Braves too ... I fear it will be something bland and corporate that offends nobody like Nationals or Capitols

Seems this is a major favourite because not only is it "patriotic" (and you know America) but also the whole HTTR, song, and sign of. Easy to change Redskins to Redtails in the lyrics etc...
