ESPN reporting a $55m loan that the NFL may have helped cover up... amongst other things.

Saw this and thought of your question from the other day. If you remove the QB those are the highest spends.
TxRover
Carr completed meetings in Indy with the Jets, Saints and Panthers. Jets reportedly very impressed by Carr, Saints and Jets had previously met with Carr (multi day meeting in New Orleans, with the Saints reportedly pursuing a trade, before Carr’s release, a trade Carr reportedly vetoed), the Panthers are the new kids. Cap space is negative on all three, with the Jets $1.1M over, the Panthers $4.1M over, and the Saints just under $30M over. On the sneak news front, the Titans might be sniffing around too…

Didn't sound like a ringing endorsement tbh. "Ryan is under contract. Right now, he's a Titan and will be a Titan". Titans one of the teams most strongly linked with trading up for a QB.

johnnydun
Rumours big Jeffrey Simmons is away too. He has deleted his twitter and cleared all Titans content from his Instagram. Fuckin' seriously?
Craig fae the Vale
Saints have officially signed Derek Carr. Not sure how it'll work with the mess the cap is in, but a definite upgrade at QB.

This makes loads of sense for the Titans, imo. Realistically not going to be competitive in the next couple of years, Henry is 29 and got a lot of wear on him. It makes sense to cash in while he still has a trade value and invest in a rebuild. He’ll be over the hill by the time the Titans are ready.

Saints seem to bodge the cap every year.
