The East Fife Thread

No money. The club are charging £10 for each home friendly coming up so things must be bad. The four old boys that have been at club for years are doing a fantastic job. Well done

That is scandalous for a kick about.

Still plenty time before the season to get players in but it looks as though Clyde and Stirling have assembled 2 good squads and we will need to bring in some decent quality to challenge them.

Anyway, looking forward to coming back in November and catching a couple of games.

Ok serious question, not taking the piss here......but what happened to the aim of turning East Fife Full Time and bringing some top names to the club? This was the aim only 2 season ago.

Quite clearly pie in the sky (think even EF fans knew that at the time) but what happened?

It wasn't going to be properly full time just if the players didn't have other jobs they would come in and do stuff with the community, the owner (Rankine) wouldn't sell out or invest so Lee Murray left after signing players on more money than they were worth.

A lot of those signings were made on the promise that Rankine would sell up to Murray, hence the premature announcement that there was "no more Rankine", Rankine then reneged on those promises and we are now are where we are!!!

Why anybody would make financial decisions or public announcements based on verbal agreements made with that rat is an other argument!!!

If you's need a striker then Leighton Mcintosh based on his performance today! He scored 2 and won his team a pen. He was an excellent all round striker. I would take him at Clyde but we've got enough strikers.

Any line-ups for today.
