Dragon capsule landing in 20 minutes/melting in a ball of fire.

Dunno why, but a quote from astronaut John Glenn came to mind... "I felt exactly how you would feel if you were getting ready to launch and knew you were sitting on top of 2 million parts — all built by the lowest bidder on a government contract."

Presumably such concerns don't arise with private companies. (Ahem)

Potential 3rd launch attempt of Starship on Thursday, they'll be hoping at least one of the stages doesn't blow up this time. They're aiming for 2 relatively soft landings in the ocean, but with no attempt at recovery afaik.

"Starship"? "Starship"? In what sense is this thing a "Starship"?  Which "star" is it planned to visit? Are they going to crash it into the sun?

They're going to try to blast through the big black screen with all the stars and planets painted on.

It's a Slick operation and nothing's gonna stop them now?

If it goes it should be between noon and 2.15 pm, but no official launch license has been announced from the FAA yet.

Couple of the Youtube channels building up to the launch, both will (I think) switch to the SpaceX feed for launch so you don't have to watch it on a crappy twitter feed.

70% weather favourability, launch ETA 12.30 pm our time.

SpaceX coverage should start about 5 to 12, direct from their website is probably best. Very foggy so we might not see much.
