Guest The Phoenix
Right enough, these are new specs. I think bifocals might be my next port of call. What is snow bombing anyway? It sounds shit, if it involves snow and wearing daft gear. Pretty close... Snowbombing is a week-long festival of world class DJs and bands, in the idyllic alpine setting of Mayrhofen, Austria.
Mark Connolly
Just booked to go to New York for a week in February. Got tickets to see the Knicks at Madison Square Garden too. Pleasing.

Dee Man
Just booked to go to New York for a week in February. Got tickets to see the Knicks at Madison Square Garden too. Pleasing. Personally I'd be gutted if I had a week in NY and had to waste some of my time watching any American sports.

It was more to see something at MSG.Having said that, last time I was in NYC I saw the Giants at Meadowlands and the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Both games were much more entertaining in person than they are on the telly!

Totally agree re American Football but the one and only baseball game I attended even the Americans spend more time throwing peanut shells at each other than they did watching a mind-numbingly boring game of rounders.

I've been to several baseball games both major and minor league and its all about the food and drink
Smurph
Home Bargains do Freddo bars for 10p. Honestly. I think they're limited stock though but none the less. 10p! Oh, I forgot to mention. THEY HAVE POPPING CANDY INSIDE!
WeAreElgin
They're a cheap imitation of the real thing. My work sent us a box full of chocolate for Christmas, mainly containing those. Possibly an indication that they don't like us very much.

sjc
Whilst tidying out a cupboard last week i found a USB stick. Checked what was on it at the weekend and imagine my delight when I found the whole series of the greatest animated series ever, The Mysterious Cities of Gold. I thought you were going to tell us it was crammed full of high quality porn.
endieinreekie
I thought you were going to tell us it was crammed full of high quality porn. Sadly not, but if it was i wouldn't be stashing it away in a cupboard, it would be within easy reach.

Popping candy is good.
