XIII
So after converting us$ to Au$ thanks to Australia not having their own store I checked the price of doom locally and ended up getting a physical copy for $8 cheaper than the steam sale price. So just going to get a few indie games that are on sale

banana
Purchased SOMA and Fallout 3 GOTY (want to give it another go after giving up years back) so far, and even installed both.
Sooky
Notice there's 33% off Heart of Iron IV on Steam and somewhat tempted by it. I've played a similar game before in Making History and quite enjoyed it. Has anyone played any of the franchise? Any good?
XIII
I've got HoI3 and European Universalis 4, good games, just don't have the time to invest learning the game mechanics as I only have a few hours a week gaming time

BFTD
Genital Jousting just popped up on my discovery queue WTF? I thought Steam had a ban on adult material. I know it's just a daft cartoon game, but animated willies sodomising each other seems a bit strong!

XIII
It's made by the same developers that made hotline Miami, a great game that's only a couple of pounds on steam
NorthernLights
Civ 6 is currently £27.99 for Prime members on Amazon. Cheapest I've seen it since it was launched. It is currently £49.99 on Steam itself. Edited January 9, 2017 by NorthernLights
bunglebonce
I got a steam controller in the winter sale. The customisation options are overwhelming, but in next to no time I was comfortably playing FTL (a keyboard and mouse-exclusive game) without any trouble. Playing a game while reclining slightly on a chair is so more comfortable and more appealing than in the classic keyboard+mouse posture, so I wish I got it sooner. Yoshi-91
Don't know if anyone else has mentioned it but origin is currently doing a 50% sale on a bunch of their main titles. Fifa, titan fall, battlefield 1 and a bunch more I can't remember.

I thought about getting the steam controller but I've hooked up my ps3 controller (my favourite controller) and it works fine
loyal-blue
Looking to buy a decent Gaming PC, mainly for games like PlanetCoaster and Cities: Skyline. Wondering which computer you think would be best from this website? Looking at this one so far but not too confident with the various specifications. https://www.chillblast.com/chillblast-fusion-mumbo-gaming-pc-stock-arriving-10th-january.html?category_id=412

I have a PS controller but I only use it for PS Now. Cant really see any reason to buy a steam one unless you have a steam box

I've got it but haven't installed it yet, I got it for $3 from humble bundle as it was in a cheap bundle that just finished
