rustyarabnuts
That was amazing, best gig I've been to no doubt. Any gig I go to now will be a big disappointment (except when they return in april)
pantene proV
Manics are always brilliant at their own gigs, in front of their fans and usually dip into their incredible back catalogue. When you see them at festivals on the main stage, playing the safe hits in front of folk standing with their arms folded, it can be very dull. Lesson is: always go see them on tour! They played Sleepflower & Die In The Summertime back in '04 on the Lifeblood tour if I mind right - the only time I've heard those live. Yet to witness IfWhiteAmerica....etc & PCP tho Edited October 12, 2013 by pantene proV
DomDom
They played Die in the Summertime in a main stage Glasto slot not headlining one time. Just saying.
Richey Edwards
I watched the youtube video from Hyde Park and it looked like they couldn't be arsed playing, looked very dull. Different story at the Barrowlands though, full of energy from the first bars of Motorcycle Emptiness to the end of A Design For Life.
Jimmy85
The Manics have never really been suited to the whole massive stage, open air set up IMO. They're at their best when they're feeding off the crowds energy. While we're here interviews and tracks from their session at Maida Vale are on the red button.
pantene proV
In saying all that, their 1994 performance at Glasto was incendiary; Holy Bible material, camo/army fatigue look, Richey, f**k You attitude towards the festival - brilliant! That's how to fill a big stage

LoonsYouthTeam
Their last gig in Edinburgh was incredible, they did at least one song from every album and threw themselves right into it. During Motorcycle Emptiness James' guitar lost sound so instead he sang the guitar part which was funny and something I do now when I hear it. Certainly one of my favourite bands and one of those who are better live.
Mackie The Staggie
Arrgh, was hoping it would have been latter in the year, I'll be heading to Isle of Man TT the following month not sure if I can stretch the money to cover both. Eating is not essential is it?
Broken Algorithms
Might try to get through for this! Seen them live twice, once at the Corn Exchange and the other at T in the Park. Quite easily my favourite band of all time.

The Idiot Bástard Son
You'll be fine if you're sitting at a computer 9am Friday. 9.30 they go on sale and I’ve a meeting to attend round about then. Just have to make my excuses for being late. On the plus side, managed to get one for Edinburgh so there’s that if all else fails.
