Am I best ordering one myself and getting someone to do it, or just waiting until Tuesday for it's service and asking them to sort it? Afro Posted March 4, 2017 Share Posted March 4, 2017 If the catch itself on the glovebox lid is away Stellaboz, it should be very straightforward to swap over. Again, depends what kind of car it is and if it's that or the catch on the dash, but you should be able to pick up a replacement very cheaply and quickly. EDIT: Not really sure how much you're into cars but I'd make a habit of at least making a go of fixing minor problems yourself - I'm honestly not being condescending mate, just that it'll help you in the long run. And if you ever get stuck there's a plethora of YouTube videos for just about anything fixable. Go to your local scrap yard and take one from there, even if you take the whole glove box door it shouldn't cost you more than £5. Then just replace it, it will be a simple enough fix.
