Limited edition Pedigree Chum dog food (made from at least 50% bone meal) will be available from late November 2020.

This is to mark the 30th anniversary of the last white dog shit to appear on our pavements.

It is hoped that white dog shit will start to appear again from the start of January 2021.

The pointless dots around the letters in Dunfermline's club crest were initially stars to represent the five Fife Cups won at the time of design.

Dunfermline's club crest is based on the appearance of rivals Raith Rovers' L-shaped main stand as you approach the ground from the Beveridge Park end of Pratt Street

'Snap, crackle and pop' was a term coined by a Kellogg's employee's kids who enjoyed throwing snails into their fire.

While cinema goers await the next James Bond film, work is already underway developing the screenplay for the one after that.

"Snap, Crackle, Pop" is one of Ian Fleming's lesser known stories.  In it Spectre attempt to gain control of the world's supply of breakfast cereals.  Only 007 can stop them.  Billy Connelly has been recruited as the arch villain and Iron Maiden have been asked to provide an upbeat theme song.  You will never look at breakfast the same way again.

Dad's Army was actually just a ripoff of Star Trek.

Not sure you got this right.  George Lucas was a big fan of Dad's Army and said it inspired him to write Star Wars.

"May the force be with you" was first used by Captain Mainwaring.

Alec Guinness got to appear in Star Wars because Lucas thought he had been in Dad's Army.

There are dozens of connections.  I am surprised you don't already know that.

And, of course, 'The Imperial March' is based on Dad's Army actor Clive Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, Dunn-Dunn, Dunn, Dunn-Dunn

Martina Navratilova saw an episode of Birds of a Feather last year for the first time and immediately fell in love with Leslie Joseph.

Since then, she has bombarded Leslie with bouquets of flowers, Terry All Gold chocolates and those little bottles of wine you get on aeroplanes.

No, no, no, you're all wrong, I'm afraid. Dad's Army wasn't the inspiration behind Star Wars. It's actually what inspired Bram Stoker to create Dracula. Ya know, when Monty Python's Terry Jones was making Bram Stoker's Dracula back in the early '90s, he originally wanted an entirely different cast. Instead of Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reeves, and Winona Ryder, he wanted Pamela Anderson as Dracula, Roy 'Chubby' Brown as Van Helsing, the yucca plant from that episode of One Foot in the Grave as Jonathan Harker, and, as Mina, he'd originally cast a VHS copy of Spaceballs, but had to bring in Winona Ryder instead when the tape got eaten up in Saddam Hussein's video recorder. I think ya all just got Spaceballs and Star Wars confused.

<10% of so-called Munroists have been to the top of all the Munros because of the presumption that trig points mark the highest point.

(tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if this is true)

"Munro bagging" involves climbing to the top of mountain in Scotland that is at least 3,000 feet above sea level and then reciting a poem.

If you forget to recite a poem then the whole thing is ruled invalid and you will have to do it again.
