tamthebam
the facts: must have made 10 or more chances, hit the post at least twice, 3 one on one with the keeper (who played well- the bugger). So we need a vehicle that is solid, reliable but ultimately just couldn't make it. So.... ...here's a (partially) red double decker bus that has hit the infamous Dunnikeir Rail Bridge in Kirkcaldy. I was hoping to get a more local theme of the double decked No 14 that an inexperienced driver managed to convert into a single decker by trying to take it under the low bridge at Newcraighall nearly 25 years ago but I couldn't find a picture of that one, alas. tamthebam
had Strollers taken some of their first half chances the vehicle might have edged towards the above... as it was they didn't and we came, we saw, we got a penalty (cor... ). We did the job. Just like this err... fire engine....
Edinburgh City by name
What chances did the strollers create Tam. I think Stobie had one save in the whole game. Comfortable win imo.
tamthebam
Pluses: 4 goals, some nice play, a win against the usually sticky Preston Athletic Minues: A saved penalty, we let in a goal. I think that the pluses outweigh the minuses on this occasion so I shall award the coveted Ferrari this week. But don't let it go to your heads, next week will be a toughie... tamthebam
some nice play yesterday but I thought we looked a bit rusty after a few weeks lay off. so this week's car is a fine e-type jag awaiting restoration.
tamthebam
Sten Gun hat-trick last week, 5 goals away from home this week. Ferrari material I think! BTW, pay me enough and I'll stay away from next week's game so the good form continues...

tamthebam
The Lowland League's Rolling Stones- it's Mick and Keef! With Stevie "Charlie Watts" Torrance on drums behind Vale of Leithen- something old (Oscar ), something new, something "borrowed" (ahem... sssh!) and something blue (their player's moaning). I expected City to score a few against the visitors given their recent troubles so not sure if the performance is quite up to Ferrari standards.. on the other hand there were seven City goals (including an o.g. and one gifted when the greeting faced goalie slipped at a kick out and the ball pinged straight to a City player) and two Vale goals to give the paying neutral entertainment... Oh go on then, have the bloody Ferrari
