I'm pretty confident that people are big enough and clever enough to see through newspaper lies by now. Just means the crowd in Ruggy aren't up for their pish either.

I have already seen comments about SNP Brownshirts "attacking" Darling

The problem with this type of thing is it takes away from the utter fails that is going on today and instead we will see articles attacking Yes antics again. Seriously, I wish our guys would just stay away from them and let them dig their own graves!

I'm fortunate, I'm over the let down and my beliefs and resolve never waivered, this all comes down to how many will waiver, that's been the case from day 1.

Well as long as there are guys like my mate, who has flown over from Brisbane to campaign in the likes of Castlemilk, as a present for his 40th birthday, there is always hope.

Boaking at that parade of Eton-educated horse fiddlers pretending to love Scotland within the UK, because grandmama was born in Aberdeen don't you know.

Fortunately they then gave the floor to a MISSUS BUNFIELD type to remind us all what the typically engaged Unionist looks like. While denigrating and sidelining a 'nationalist' movement which won an overwhelming landslide at the last Scottish election and currently is vying for a majority of the Scottish vote. That's Westminster approach to Scotland, folks.

Your persona on here is one of extreme arrogance and I disagree strongly with your view on independence but the Missus Bunfield reference is worthy of a positive rep.

She was also trying to paint Blair Jenkins as some kind of anti-English bigot.

It's worth pointing out that Jenkins was excellent throughout that interview, despite her nonsensical interruptions.

She tried to blame the collapse of the banks on the Scots and Jenkins refuted it brilliantly.

It's genuinely the most impressive interview I've seen for a long time. He deserved better than that utterly clueless little weirdo for an interviewer.

Edited to add: I don't think I used the word "interview" enough

I'm hearing from someone in Rutherglen who's at the visit of Prescott & Darling that they bussed a load of No supporters in, then Prescott got blocked in a shop by a load of Yes supporters and Darling had to be escorted to a taxi to leave!

FFS this kind of pish is absolutely not useful. I really wish there wasn't these kind of fannies on the Yes side, we'd have a much better chance.

Glad he fought for his own and everyone elses family and for the Democracy that allows the people to have self determination if they wish..so yes you were right to bother!

Quite. I'd go as far as to say you'd have to be pretty fucking stupid to get in their way. They've been digging their own graves quite well. Why would you want to get in the way of that, and not only that, but hurt your own cause?

Bang those couple of brain cells together and figure out it's not a great idea.

I think today is the day everyone started to lose the fucking heid. 8 days to go, maybe understandable.

Facebook/Twitter in meltdown.

No side panicking. Some Yes people celebrating too early.

I'm trying to remain calm. I literally have no desire to discuss it with anyone now, especially people who have their decision either way.

I think this will be me until next Thursday....

I'm getting the same way now. The ones declaring no and yes now are unlikely to waiver - the undecideds still hold the key and that's where yes have had a better campaign so far. Even on facebook, you can sense a note of panic with a lot of no voters, which certainly wasn't there last week. I think the undecided voters are fed up of being lobbied now and need to go and review the evidence and make their own mind up.

I genuinely find myself struggling to concentrate at work, home or on anything for that matter. I have twitter, a view news websites and this forum pretty much up all the time, just waiting for another poll, or blunder, defecter, or anything else where the shit gets real. I kept telling myself I wouldn't let myself get completely encapsulated by this spectacle, but it has been impossible to not be engrossed by it for me.
